I have two question.

If a person is not in good English and want to file N400.

Can this person get translator during naturalization interview?

When filing form, does it require to provide the information of translator in Part 13 of N 400 form?

She is old and never worked in US. So she never filed tax return.

What should she send to USCIS if she never file tax return.

Will it be problem?

Biometircs appointment is the one you paid $85 along with application fee.

yeah thats what i was wondering that its for August turn time and its November now. do you have the USCIS online account? try to email the immigration officer from your online account, at least they will tell you if you in line to schedule interview or not. My 6 months are due on 12-1.

I just read fellow Houstonians reply. I called few months back to USCIS... They told me that application is sent to Houston office and they will schedule it..

I believe.. Houston office is packed with loads of applications therefore it is taking time.

I looked previous month filers at Houston office, it seems that office is loaded with N400 application.

Today was my wife's interview at Islamabad embassy around 7 everything went well but in the end CO said that they require to do further processing and will get back to her within four weeks time.

She was given a White paper stating that

" Dear Visa Applicant: Thank you for interviewing at U.S Embassy, Islamabad. Your visa has been denied under the provisions of the immigration and Nationality Act.

Section 221 (g) Your case requires additional administrative processing. it is your responsibility to keep embassy updated if your address or phone number changes. We recommend you contact us every two months to check on your status of your case. If you have questions or if you need to update your contact information you should notify.... "

CO kept her passport, We were actually baffled because there is nothing we could think went wrong !

Can any of you tell me how long does it take for them to respond back and if they reject can we Appeal for an interview again?

Please visit the site of your state senator and local congressman. You can expedite your AP process by filling application in their office. They will push state department for visa.

I think USCIS website updates once in a month.

I am filing naturalization form based on marriage.

If I ordered IRS tax transcript, it will take 10 to 15 days. I have all last three years 1040 and other tax form. Which form should I submit?

Is there any definite time to file N-400 application is naturalization is based on marriage. Like 3 year period.

My wife's removal of condition is due now. I am still waiting for long form of Brith Certificate. As my son also born 10 days ago.

I wanted to know if it is okay to submit short form birth certificate instead of long form birth certificate.

Vital and Statistics department advised me to contact them after three weeks of birth then they will issue long form, while my local county clerk told me that he can issue short form for me.

What do you guys think about it? Should I submit I-751 with short birth certificate?

I am US citizen, and my wife have Green Card (Conditional Resident).

My wife is pregnant now, and she does not have health insurance, but I have my insurance through my employer, and my employer told me that I can not add dependent in my insurance and I need to wait till November 2014. I also missed obama care deadline and I am not eligible for enrollment.

in 2014, he is in US and wants to file re-entry permit. He never ever file any tax return in US, becuae doesn't work here.

Now, he is planning to apply for re-entry permit. He has confusion in Part 5 of I-131 form.
