  1. How far have you gotten in two days?

  2. Thanks for the birthday greeting. I made it home safe. I found the papers I needed and mailed my IV package. We're still going to request the Russian PC. It takes 30 days once you request. Just waiting on the forms to come in the mail so I can request.

  3. You finally got your case number and it was on 4 May, my birthday. Poor me I was working a 14 hour preparing for a inspection on that day. I hope that package arrives quick. I'm leaving for home tomorrow. I'll check back with you after I get home. Take care ok.

  4. I can't believe the NVC is taking so long on your papers. This is crazy. It's over a month already.

  5. Actually we forgot at first but than thought since it was not over a year for each visit that we may get by without needing it for NVC. Still even if the NVC passes this the Embassy may request it. She went to the Russian Consulate in Nairobi but they said it would take 3 months. The Consulate in Texas says 30 days days. So we're working on those papers now.

  6. I hope you get something soon from NVC. I'm only waiting to return home so I can mail out my IV package. All the NVC fees are paid and AOS is complete.

  7. We have our Police certificates for Kenya and Uganda. She was in Russia 3 times. Med school twice and once to learn Russian. Never over a year. But if you add up all the months it's over a year. We're not sure if we still need a Police Certificate for Russia since all the time adds up to more than a year. The requirement says for 12 months abroad. We hope not. It might take over a month...

  8. That's good news. At least you are not lost. Just have to wait a little longer. As for me. I searched for that paper I needed to mail. Never found it. So it's home. So I can't mail it until 8 May after I return home. At least that gives the wife time to return home from the Easter holiday. She needs to update her passport to match NVC Files. They used my last name as hers. Lets stay...

  9. I received my DS-3032/I864 through email. I'm still waiting on the DS-3032 to be accepted so I can pay the IV fee. I may get a little behind since I'm out of town working for 3 weeks. I was going to mail the rest from here but I forgot one paper. Looks like I'll be waiting now until I return home. Oh well.

  10. Any word yet from NVC?

  11. Not quite ready. Waiting on DS-3032 to be accepted and receipt for AOS which was paid and AOS acceptance. Than we do the IV package and pay that fee. Once it's accepted and shows complete. Than we can move on to Medicals.

  12. Start making some phone calls for that email. There has to be a problem with that.

  13. I would call and check on that email address. You should have received email notice of the NOA2. If you didn't than that might be why you don't have email from NVC. You should call just to check if your email is correct and if you are loaded into the system. From what I see this process starts with email. Also check your email filter. It may be getting sent to the junk mail box.

  14. Got the NVC emails today. We're on our way now with the NVC Journey. Hope you got your too.

  15. I received the NOA2 also on the 6th. Today I received emails from NVC. How about you?

  16. Have you received anything from the NVC?

  17. I found out about my approval by email and text message to my phone. Still waiting on the hard copy NOA2. Waiting on the NVC too. I'm ready to pay these fees so this case can be complete. Hoping that once the case is received by the embassy my wife will be able to register online and pick a quick interview date. Praying for May.

  18. Congrats to you too. It's been a long wait. Now lets hope this NVC thing hurries up.

  19. Yes it does feel good. It felt like that day would never come. My wife refused to even talk about. She said it made her depressed.

  20. Thanks Ben and Jill for the comments. We sure do need that Blessing from what I've been reading on this site.
