1. Son is IR-2. He is adopted. They can and do DNA tests to prove paternity, which you would fail.

IR-2 can be for biological children in cases where the parent does not qualify to file CBRA (if they have not lived in the US 5 years).

hi good day. my husband is planning to file IR2 on our 2year old daughter. what are the requirements/documents to be needed in filing petition? thank you!!

  2. 1. yes.

    2. yes (usually the mother signs)

make sure the child has passport, first, before filing - you'll need to throw in a passport bio page, as well (during NVC processing).

For the daughter - it's an entire new I-130 submittal - many ppl file them together (mother and daughter) in the same envelope, but keep them seperate inside the envelope somehow.

hi good day to you. i have question regarding child's petition. what are the documents needed for filing child's petition together with my spouse? tnx!

  3. salamat po.:)

hi congrats!!!! i think they will send packet forms para e fill up mo at dalhin sa interview/ e send back mo. then they will give u an appointment letter and case number para sa interview mo. :) Good luck!! xcited na din kami mag file ng dcf this may :) Good luck to us and God bless :) sis baka gusto mo e share kong anong mga docs na u pass sa window 25 hehehe :)

  4. hi may i knw what r the requirements or documents that u pass? and how much is the dcf spousal fee? we're planning to file this coming april. may husband studied here in PI he's the USC. We stayed in my parents house that's why we dont have any bills or rent bills... now are the school papers can be a document as proof of residency? that's the only proof that we have and the affidavit of joint houses or i dont what's that called.

  5. hi Vjers! I'm so glad when I read all your comments and post about DCF. It's really a big help to everyone especially those someone that will be applying like me :)But my situation goes like this....

My husband (DUAL Filipino-American Citizen) from California went here in PI to study a 4 year course last May 2008. We met Sept 2009 and got married Jan. 2011. Since he will be graduating soon this Oct 2012, we plan to apply DCF this April so that he can bring me back together with our baby to US.. As of now, we already start gathering documents since the documents needed as the us embassy manila emailed me are US CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE, PHILIPPINE CERTIFICATE (dual), G-325A ONE EACH, PASSPORT PIC,AND PROOF OF RESIDENCY (us passport, marriage cert if married, wedding pics, birth cert of the baby, taxes, bills, land ownership, rent bills, car ownership, business, ect..) I'm just a little confused about husband's proof of residence coz he doesn't have business here, he didn't work here, he just have his parent's house here and parent's land titles. And now that we're married, we stayed in my parents house and shared for bill payments... we only have marriage cert, wedding pics, my baby's birth cert and his passport showing he stayed here for almost 4 years... Do u have any idea what else could we send as a documents for proof of residency? or a school records would work? Pls help!.. Hope i have same situation here... thank u so much!

  6. Hello. I am in the process of gathering required docs for DCF filing. Right now, my husband got approved for his ACR card and we will get the card this week. I have already cable bills under his name but it is only 2 mos bills. But we have the cable since june 2011, I just did able to change from my name to his name by december 2011. But I think I can ask the cable officer to give me another bills from june to nov under my husband's name. My husband got here this april 2011. Do you think we qualified already for DCF? Are we going to submit the application to manila embassy or in the states?

Can someone help me what are the docs to be included in the application? all docs should be in original copy or photocopy?

Thanks! I will appreciate your help.

hi sis, just try call or email the usem about your situation. i emailed the embassy and here's what they replied to me "Attachment is for your information and compliance. Report to our customer service window, Window 25, U.S. Embassy, Manila, to file your Form I-130 petition. The window is open Mondays to Fridays, except holidays, between the hours of 0800 and 1200. Service is on first-come-first-serve basis. Bring with you your proof of U.S. citizenship, Philippine citizenship certificate, completed Form I-130, and G-325A for you and your spouse, one U.S. passport-sized picture for you and your spouse, proof of residence, marriage certificate, copy of any dissolutions of prior marriages for you and your spouse, and proof or marital relationship, i.e., copy of birth certificate of children born into the marriage, etc." can i ask? what is ACR? is that necessary to my husband? he's a DUAL Filipino - American citizen. he stayed her for almost 4 years na, bumalik lng cya dito to study nursing here in our place. Nahihirapan nga ako what proofs ang ibibigay ko since we stayed/live in my parent's house. we just share of paying bills in the house. he has a car but he transferred the ownership to me.. :( i think magpapagawa ako ng affidavit of joint houses ba yan o anong tawag dyan heehhe and siguro big help na yang TOR or certificate from school or letter. ano pa kaya sa tingin mo sis?

  12. Don't worry. My wife and I filed our petition at the US Embassy in Manila on June 2, 2011. It was only approved on August 3, 2011. And my wife received the approval letter 1 week after. So it should take about 2-3 months. Be patient, you'll get it.
