Yes 000000 are fine the embassy understands the child has no SSN. You can get that done when your in the US.

about the permanent address, i wrote PI in mailing address and i wrote her father's US address where we intend to live on permanent address. Is that would be okay? or should be the PI address always? Thank you again

hi! how about my husband didn't get to school when he arrived in US? he went to US after his high school graduation. and he studied there but he didnt continue it, he just worked and worked for about 10 years...... what else proof do we get? aside from W2s and itr? thank u!

Yes, you need to stop it (when you send in your papers to the NVC, send a letter explaining that you did not realise your daughter needed CRBA), and start filing for CRBA.

hi good day! I am so confused right now when someone told me that the consul would not issue a visa if the minor is eligible for us passport/crba... Is this true??? Please someone enlighten me... my daughter meets all the requirements of crba, but my husband wanted to file us together in I-130 petition... Hi good day everyone! I have questions regarding my passport. I prepared documents for my daughter's passport and they asked me to have a photocopy of the back portion of my passport the consent thing "in case of emergency/death, pls notify:" due to rush hour, instead of my mother's name, i placed my name and telephone # on it. So what i did was i placed white ink on it and changed it into my mom's name. Now, is it okay for what i did? i realized that im into trouble... i am so worried right now and i don't know what im going to do? would it that be okay that there's era shore on my passport? pls i need some enlightenment on what to do. We got approved on the 16th and our NOA2 hardcopy arrived last saturday (jan 19th), I guess yours should be there in no time as well!

As the FAQ at the beginning of this thread mention, allow a week to your case to get to the NVC and from there start calling every day.

My husband called in today (HA,we are a little impatient! lol) and they don't have our case there yet....so we still gotta wait a little longer....

I looked at recent numbers (2012) and it's even shorten on average. But to be safe, with 55 days for NVC and then 1 month for interview, I'm now looking at April!

Checking in..... Just got our noa2 hardcopy.. The date of notice was jan. 20. We're thinking of calling NVC for case #. But i think we just have to wait for nvc confirmation letter..right?? Or i should start calling by now??. :-) i hope this nvc thing is fast just like our uscis... I just hope. ;-)

So happy we got approved! Thank u God it's really a great birthday gift!!! we had our noa1 11/28. and now we got an email from uscis that we're approved.
