  4. Just curious guys - have any of you tried emailing the embassy directly to get a sense of where they are at? If so, did they tell you anything useful? I emailed their Non-IV address a few months ago and got a personal response but it wasn't related to interview scheduling. Wishing you all strength to keep going and Inshallah you'll all get your interviews soon. I just got back from Sana'a yesterday and all was calm. In an entire year I only saw my fiance 4 weeks :( still got a long way to go...

I did email them this is their reply: :bonk:

" Your case is still located at the National Visa Center (NVC). Although the NVC has finished processing your petition, the case will remain with the NVC until there is an available appointment at the Embassy. Once an appointment is available, the case will be transferred to the embassy & our office will contact the applicant to schedule an appointment. Until your case is transferred to to the embassy, please direct any inquiries to the NVC."

Also I heard that the embassy is STILL working on cases that where approved in July and August 2011..... :wow::bonk::wacko::blink:

I Don't Know What to Do :( Please Help :(

Are you keeping yourself updated? have called the customer service or anyone else for help?

  6. Hello everyone,

I just got an RFE last week. :bonk:

Its 4 paged RFE for proof of bona fide marital relationship.

Do I have to send everything listed on the RFE or just I what can??

I'm soo nervous because it's a 4 pged RFE & that I might not have enough evidence

    Is this type RFE common?

They said they have received my marriage certificate. However in order to establish the marriage is bona fide, I must submit secondary evidence.

I have not sent in anything yet but here's what I have so far as proof:

    >copy my marriage certificate ( again )

    >my passport/passport stamps(copied all pges in book in color to prove)

    >passport style photos of both of us (again)

    > 6 photos of us together ( wedding, honeymoon,& other randoms)

    >yahoo chats ( from before marriage till now)

    >facebook

    >online Phone call cards log

    >Copies of my spouses school diplomas.

    >copies of money transfer receipts

    Is this enough?

Also are affidavits of marriage relationship required to send?? Or is what I'm sending as evidence enough information to prove our marriage?

As for all the evidence I will be sending will they returned back to me after NOA2 approval or after interview?

Sorry lots of questions but please any info will help! :help:

    Thanks :)

    Bless you all!

  7. Hi everyone, been lurking around the forum for months but first post.

Getting frustrated, filed I-130 on Nov. 7, 2011, and still no NOA2 yet, got my NOA1 within few days that case was sent to CSC.. Still says case under review when I check status on USCIS website.

I called USCIS in mid April after my 5.5 months of wait, and they issued a Service Request based on my behalf, and was told to wait 45 days and that my case is being adjudicated. 45 days have come and gone, and nothing. Called again and they state all we can do is issue another service request. Getting really frustrated.

I've now contacted my local congress woman and one of my senators. Also scheduled an Info Pass for next week. Anyone else out there from November still waiting?

I don't get it, I'm a U.S. Citizen, no criminal record of any sort, neither does my wife, she's never been to the U.S. She's a doctor back home also no suspicious activities or anything. It seems everyone from November has had NOA2 approved and some ending stages of NVC process.

I'm stuck on background checks & have contacted everyone for help & STILL the same answer PENDING! I have been waiting for over a YEAR & STILL no NOA2 appoval... & you thought you had it bad.... :(:help::bonk::crying:

  8. So on March of 2012 I go this answer from my service request:

"The required background checks for the subject case remain pending. We will render a decision as soon as the background checks are complete. If you do not receive a decision within 120 days of this inquiry."

My senator contacted them in Feb. 2012 & they said the same thing but to wait 180 days! from 180 days now 120 days! what is this?

Has anyone ever gotten this letter? good sign did you get an approval before or after the time limit they gave you?

Does this mean I'll get my approval soon?

    If so estimate when?

    Is my case on AP?

Its been 1 year for me & STILL no approval!

ahh this wait is soo suffering! :crying:

But I will not give up! :help:

it always the same answer pending/under background checks :(

I have had no RFE's so far by the way.

Please any info/advice from you will help!

    Pray for me:(

    Bless you all

    Thanks

  9. My husband lives in Yemen and if you guys have heard, it's not really in the best condition.

He lives in a terrible area and I worry everyday something is gonna happen to him. My PD is august and I'm so tired of waiting.

How do I go about asking for a service request?

ok here is how it goes when you want to talk to the customer service line here are the directions:

Here are the step to file a service request:

1.)Dial the uscis customer service number

2.)To continue in English press 1

3.)To check the status of an application press 2

4.)If you know your receipt number press 1

5.)If your receipt number starts with SRC press 1

6.)The receipt number you entered... if this is correct press 1

Information you heard is most up to date...

7.)report a problem with your case press 3

& you will be connected! make sure you have your case/file number ready.

You have reached the technical service center..

    Good luck! :)

  10. Filed I130 for my husband in August of last year.

How fast does the NVC process after I get NOA?

How fast does the embassy in Yemen appoint an interview?

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

Your in for a looong wait for the NOA2. :/

Once you get the NOA2 everything will go fast!

  11. WOW really sorry to hear that you are stil at the USC stage! Did you have RFE's?

Really hope you hear something soon!

No, no RFE's every time I would call they would say your case is pending under background check:(

They send me a letter lease week after my service request saying:

"Your case is still pending. This notice acknowledges receipt of your status inquiry concerning an I-130 petition. We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints."

    please any advice will help!

    Pray for me :(
