It's unbelievable ridiculous never thought that we will have to go through all this just Bring our family I mean for me I came here when I was seven years old and was raised here in graduated from here in all my life was here but never thought it would take me three years to bring my wife here but I all well it's to late now to talk about it just hoping that my family gets here fast I miss my wife and kids and I know you all feel the same and wishing to start your life but in Insallah everything will come soon and Insallah we will all be happy Insallah

they r doing this to themselves they schedule picks up for so many at the same time and they cant even do there job and get the visas finished for ppl

It's so true and also putting people on ap doesn't help. And then it just leaves more work for later. If they were to approve people on the spot, then it will be less people to deal with.

I really don't want to give my hopes up on getting it this time.God help us all!

Now I'm worried... my cousin also said there were at least 12 people who were told their visas aren't ready and they got new slips saying to come back in Feb.

She is the applicant and she went with her older brother.

Because some people got pink and some got white slips.

Would a valid drivers license be good? Lol and a valid pharmacy technician certificate from college which would make me eligible for work

Is the embassy replying back to anyone?

It just replys back right away with an auto message I'm not sure if they are atleast reading the emails or not?

Our case status changed to Issued on the DOS website. I don't think they change it until the visa is printed and ready. I'm pretty hopeful they're gonna call us to pick it up before the pick up date, insha'Allah.

For those who had pick ups and were told the visa isn't ready what does your case status say?

Mine has been saying issued & I still havant got that call to pick up my visa. I emailed them a couple of times to see if I would get an answer but nothing. Hopefully it atleast signals them to get it ready for when I come on the listed pick up date.

Can everyone please update their timeline. I know, I know I'm one to talk lol. But there's no way to update timelines using the mobile version but I just googled update timeline visa journey and it took me back to the regular site where u can update it. When I first started googling the embassy in Yemen there was almost no useful information. Now Alhamdullilah I feel like this site, especially this thread, is really helpful for those who will be dealing with the U.S. embassy in Yemen.

Actually it's a small white slip, not pink, and it says please come for your visa pick-up on Jan. 26 at 11:00 a.m. It has our case number written on it and it says to bring some form of ID. We have a copy of his passport and his Yemen ID so we'll be taking both iA.

My husband said there were 200 people there. And he heard the guards talking about how there were 800 people the day before that. All either have appointments, drop offs, pick-ups, passports etc.

He also said he didn't see that young white lady who interviewed him. He said all the windows had counclers and everyone was saying they're all new to the embassy. They seemed to be moving along faster in my opinion, disregarding my visa journey. I wasn't expecting a call till March but alhamdulilah.

Yay thank god I though I was the only one lol. Looks like the embassy is moving alot quicker

My husband is still on his way home from Sana'a so I haven't seen or read the slip but he told me it was pink.

I don't think it matters, white or pink. I read somewhere here that they will either give you a white or pink slip and they both mean visa pick-up. Just a few more days till your pick up, wait it out and your spouse will have the visa in hand insha'Allah.

I am not upset because I wasn't able to pick it up but at least they could have called me and advised me not to show up because it wasn't ready. They are so unorganized :/

I went to pick my visa on 12/4 they said it wasn't ready :/

so they pushed my pick up till the end of Dec.
