    The first step is always the hardest. It may have not gone the way I planned & imagined it to be, but I believe that HE is in control and that HE determines my path & directs my course. All I gotta do is trust HIM because I know HE knows what's best for me. After all, when you've reach rock bottom, there's no other way but to go up. :)

    Was thinking of moving where there is a great demand for RNs. Been here in the US for almost a year but still unemployed. Sigh! Glad the hubby got promoted. He's now a line technician at a Honda dealership. I'm so happy & proud of HIM.

    Finally, after almost my turning 4months stay here in the US, I've been interviewed in a skilled nursing facility. I think I did a great job! Due for my 2nd interview and I'm hoping I'll get hired. Keeping my fingers crossed for my possible first job here in the US!

    Aced the DMV's driver written test! Yay! :D Got my permit. Better start practicing driving behind the wheels! Oh no! Another asian tryin to learn how to drive in the US. Watch out! LOL! :D

      Thanks everyone. I've received calls Adriene H, unfortunately, even if I am a RN, when asked about my years of experience (which was roughly 9months), they just keep on telling me to call them back once I had at least a year or so.

      That was really fast! My wife is still waiting for her GC (got her SSN withing one week after arrival). Drivers' license replacement didn't work out - we've been told the wrong info, so my wife has to re-take all the exams: written, driving.

      Hi Jen. Yeah, I'm now currently on a job hunting mode. Ohhh, Sacramento is a 2hour drive from my place. Hindi pa nga ako nagreview para sa written test. Haha! BTW, Cali BRN emailed me, they gave me my RN license and told me I'll receive it regular mail in about 2weeks. Yay! :D

      Hey katval! The consul didn't ask any document from me during the interview. But yeah, I have a photocopy of my hubby's affidavit in lieu of certificate of legal capacity to contract marriage with me. :)

      You're in a K3 visa, and even if you requested for a CENOMAR by this time, an AOM will be given to you instead since you are already married. I just brought mine since I was able to save it. GOD bless and I pray that you have a smooth medical exam and US embassy interview! :)
