  1. My fiance's employment letter states that he is working since April 1 2011 and his current gross salary is USD 36,751.98 per annum. But on I-134 my fiance put gross 41,600 as annual income. 20x8x5x52 that's how he came up with that.He said that he made different money per hour depending if he was working on government job or regular job, There is no way that the employer could of gave him an accurate number of how much his annual pay is bc one week he could make 20 and another week he could be make 50 an hour.

    My questions:

    1. Does your gross income on employer letter has to be match with what you put on I-134?

    2. Fiance sent me his tax returns 1040 and W2 year 2008,2009,and 2010. Are these enough? Will the CO question about 2011's 1040 and W2? I keep asking him the 2011's 1040 and W2. But all he could say was "In US you don't get your returns until you get tax papers from work and they give them to you around tax time so I can see if they can send now if you like but I have to file my taxes first."

Anyone help me plz to understand this, I was so ready to get my interview date but these things came up messing my mind :'(

    Thank you.

  4. Won't hurt to have it for sure. Was in not part of the I-129F? They should already have a copy.

Based on my packet 3 'document preparation instructions for fiance visa interviews' point number 7 : death or divorce decree from petitioner and applicant. On the same page the instructions mentioned that for each document, the applicant must bring:

    - originals or original certified copies by the issuing office.

    - photocopies of the original documents.

So it seems my fiance should make the copy of the original divorce decree then get legalized from court, and he better send me the original, rite?

  5. I got my packet 3 from U.S Embassy Jakarta Indonesia yesterday (January 4th).Based on the following documents required #8 its stating: "Police certificate. Each applicant aged 16 or older must have police clearance from any country where the applicant resided for 1 year or more. Police certificate for Indonesia is not required'.

1 of my friend who had been thru this told me that I don't need to get the police certificate because I never lived in another country for 1 year or more. But seriously, I feel so happy because I don't need to have any business with police officer in Indonesia, sometimes we have to pay extra money just to get a letter that suppose to be free for us as the citizen, especially when they noticed a letter that we need has something to do with visa to united states, that would make them look at us like an atm machine.
