    Hi Jennnnnnnnnnna! My PD was 01/09/17 and my petitions was processed by Potomac Service Center. Notice date is 06/02/17 so my petitions took 4 months and 3 weeks to get approved, and the hard copies of NoA2 I received 06/08/17 through mail. And yes!! Fingers crossed you'll get exciting news soon!!

    Woohoo!!!! Just got NoA2 today for both of my parents, they came through mail. It says my petition has been approved and notice date is 06/02 so it took almost 5 months to get the USCIS approval. They also already sent the petitions to NVC. Waiting to hear from them hopefully soon. Funny thing is the USCIS website still saying my petitions was received, I didn't get any emails or text messages about the approvals. Hope you guys who still waiting for good news will get it soon!!! And oh keep checking your mailbox lol!!!

    My case went to Potomac too! Fingers crossed for a smooth process for all of us here. So I printed out form I-864 and I-864a,  filled them out with pencil just for fun lol. Making copies of our W2s and Studying NVC process step by step. I just wanted to be prepared.  And I already filed our tax return for year 2016, then soon I'll be gathering IRS transcripts from the past 3 years. I'm very excited too and so much in my mind! I just got this official NOA1 today and I found my self looking for plane tickets for my parents already ?

    Did you read this IR5 July Filers thread?  OMG some of them got NOA2 within 30-40 days. Thats awesome..! Hopefully all of us here get approval as fast as theirs.

    Sent my petition to Chicago Lockbox :) and what form? The money order form? If so then it was only my name and address needed for money order. Are you applying for both parents? 

    N-400 April 2016 Filers

    So my interview was 2 weeks ago, and today I just got a notification says they placed me in line dor my oat ceremony and will send me a notice with date, time and location of my oath ceremony. I was told to wait 4 weeks to hear anything back from USCIS after my interview and I'm so glad it took only 2 weeks. Eventhough the interview went well and I passed the civic questions, I was worried because the IO cheked the box on form N652 that says " a decision cannot yet be made about your application". What a relief I'm so happy!!!

    For those of you guys who already got your interview appointment scheduled, I know you really want to study hard and pass the test, but one you should remember, please bring all the latest of your bank statement that has your spouse and your name on it, the latest utility bill with your name and your spouse name, lease etc because I was asked for all of them. The IO even asked for my birth certificate that already translated in English. And I didn't have it with me that time. The IO had to look through all my files like 5 inch thick lol and she found it. Phew! Apparently she had all my files since I was applied for K1 visa. Good luck to all of you guys and I will update again once the oath ceremony notice in my hand!

    I Passed my test! IO said wait for 4 weeks to get information about oath ceremony. She said she gotta wait for background check done before make a decision. So on my N-652 form she crossed the box that says "you passed the tests of English and U.S history and goverment. Also she crossed the box that says " A decision cannot yet be made about your application" before I left her room she made me to check a paper stated my name, my date of birth, sex etc. for the certificate.

    So, the question that I've been asked:

    - how many amendments does the constitution have?

    - name 1 branch or part of the government

    - what is the highest court in the U.S?

    - what group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves?

    - why did the colonists fight the British?

    - what territory did the U.S buy from France in 1803?

    She made me write "Citizens can vote" can't remember what was the sentence that I had to read.
