  1. Aww thank you! Back when I did my CR1 visa and then ROC we had trackers in the thread and I liked how easy it made keeping up with all the updates. Hoping to hear from @Lanzoni who had their interview last week, @Elethiomel who was scheduled for today and fingers crossed for @jm06 tomorrow! Let us know how it went and if you have an oath date Talking about it I noticed that our tracker got messed up on mobile because I increased the text size to make it easier to read, so let's try a little less big: User Name Date applied Interview date Oath date Lanzoni 01/29/24 - 04/04/24 Sahar1122 01/30/24 - 05/15/24 Laure&Colin 02/01/24 - 05/14/24 Youssuf 02/01/24 Chelleyandaaron 02/01/24 Winbig 02/01/24 - 05/08/24 USAUAinCZ 02/02/24 CollegeDropOut 02/07/24 Duggu 02/07/24 MrsOli 02/14/24 PhoenixNiro 02/15/24 YellowDuneBuggy 02/15/24 Elethiomel 02/15/24 - 04/09/24 Tunes 02/16/24 alt blank 02/16/24 Woodpecker07 02/17/24 ctrlplm 02/17/24 Aur0ra 02/18/24 Brazibride 02/19/24 Minivatreni 02/20/24 Vamphog 02/22/24 Valmabe 02/24/24 Haydnator 02/24/24 Jish&Abt 02/24/24 Jm06 02/25/24 - 04/10/24 RmSean 02/25/24 Theredcomet 02/27/24 Seiya-pegasus 02/27/24 Mr W & I 02/28/24 - 04/18/24 Endless desire 02/29/24
  2. Ooof sorry I feel like I just skipped the line in front of you. It's so strange!
  3. Thank you! When did you file? There is another member from SF who filed in October and just got her interview date a couple weeks ago. She filed under 5-year rule and has been a resident for a long time just like me. So it's really unpredictable 😕 Fingers crossed your case moves fast!
  4. Right? Lol! I used to have a job where I started at 7am, but at least I didn't have to talk to anyone for a couple hours... Good thing the USCIS office is a walking distance, it will help me oxygenate my brain a bit haha!
  5. I had the same thought as I was in this situation as well (10-year green card expiring in May). The NOA1 you receive in the mail after applying for citizenship extends your green card validity by 2 years (says so on the document). Also, citizenship applications are processed quickly these days. I applied February 1st and just got my interview scheduled for May 14th. In conclusion there's no point in applying for green card renewal and pay the extra fee. Your wife will likely be a citizen before the card would even arrive.
  6. Adding my own update to the tracker: User Name Date applied Interview date Oath date Lanzoni 01/29/24 - 04/04/24 Sahar1122 01/30/24 - 05/15/24 Laure&Colin 02/01/24 - 05/14/24 Youssuf 02/01/24 Chelleyandaaron 02/01/24 Winbig 02/01/24 - 05/08/24 USAUAinCZ 02/02/24 CollegeDropOut 02/07/24 Duggu 02/07/24 MrsOli 02/14/24 PhoenixNiro 02/15/24 YellowDuneBuggy 02/15/24 Elethiomel 02/15/24 - 04/09/24 Tunes 02/16/24 alt blank 02/16/24 Woodpecker07 02/17/24 ctrlplm 02/17/24 Aur0ra 02/18/24 Brazibride 02/19/24 Minivatreni 02/20/24 Vamphog 02/22/24 Valmabe 02/24/24 Haydnator 02/24/24 Jish&Abt 02/24/24 Jm06 02/25/24 - 04/10/24 Theredcomet 02/27/24 Seiya-pegasus 02/27/24 Mr W & I 02/28/24 - 04/18/24 Endless desire 02/29/24
  7. INTERVIEW SCHEDULED!!! 🥳 For May 14th... at 7:35am. I'm not a morning person so I'll have to drink lots of coffee to be able to answer the civics questions 😳 I did receive an email from the USCIS titled "We have taken an action in your case". I thought there were no more email notifications so I don't know if that's a new thing. I'm really excited because I had a terrible week last week (unrelated to the process), and I was prepared to wait several more months based on the recent timelines of other members in San Francisco. Woohoo!
  8. Starting this thread as I submitted my application this morning! I've been a LPR for 12 years but I was so unexcited about the idea of dealing with the USCIS again that I hadn't filed until now. Then time came to renew my green card and I thought, oh well, I might as well file my N-400 instead. What eventually convinced me is that citizenship applications are apparently processed much faster than I-90s! I'm the anxious kind and traveling around with an expired card and a piece of paper didn't sound great to me. Anyways, the online application was shockingly fast and easy. Now the waiting begins!
