Oh hunnie my heart go out to you, this is something i fear will happen but we dont know till it does happen. Hold on as much as you can for what you beleive in you heart to be true but dont let anyone take you for a fool. Being in a long distance relationship is a big excitment, it's like withholding all you have till that final moment again. Some people finally get together and then realise they miss that excitment and think they dont have feelings. You followed your heart and you left all you know behind to face this just doesn't seem fair. The only advice i can give is to pray about it and ask God to help you and show you the way (im not a Godly person but i beleive).

i just want to report that hubby is here, everything went so well thank god, he even landed 6 hours before his expected arrival, i guess he charmed the flight ladies to let him in on an earlier flight thank you VJ'ers, this site has been the best site ever, with so much help and great advice, thank you to all :thumbs:

WOW I just read from pages 59-75 seems like ive dissapared for longer than i thought.
SO nice too see NVC handing out interview dates like peice of cake. It makes life So less stressful.
WHen i got my interview date assigned I had 1mth &2week till that day, now i only have 3 more weeks to wait. I know many of you think your date is so far away but having that time helps you go in properly prepared and makes you a "little" more calmer.
Since my time off VJ.com:
Im nesting lolll- yep making the house pefect for my hubby.
Changing the branch (not company) i work at so i can be closer to home.
Next week he should be receiving my 20 pound box of evidence and the AOS Packet.
5 more days till the medical.
Counting down the 20 days we have left till the interview.
VJ.com and all its current members, passed members, Trindad members and of course Saylin has not only made this journey simple but Understandable. NVC or USCIS tells you to do something and then you come to VJ.com and u understand y they need you to do something. I love this site and i recommend it to everyone.
ADVICE to alot of ppl madly in love with a simply stright fwd case- NO LAWYER NEEDED save that money to buy a nice expensive bottle of bubbly to celebrate after POE.

I work at a bank and i realise that when they aren't sure of something they say they cant do it. $20 to hold an account just because you arent a citizen????? that sounds like discrimination not policy. you have a social security number to be able to report your intrest earned that's what they need along with your valid ID's.

If I'm not mistaken that is totally up to you.
Newarks gonna be our POE also We live closer to philly airport but at EWR my husband will get a non stop flight, less stress on him.
If you are on a connecting flight the FIRST US AIRPORT YOU LAND AT is your POE.
For example: If my husband leaves Trinidad and flys to Florida to catch a connecting flight to Newark (his finial destination) then the Florida airport will be his POE.

K1 VISA Is for unmarried people with the intend to marry in the us. Basically the visa is given to u to enter to us n get married with in a certain time frame. So that all u get out of a K1 (until u apply for the other things u could get automaticly with a CR1)
CR1 is if u are married n ur spouse will be moving to the us permanently. Out of this u get the visa, green card n apply for social security card.
In my opinion K1 Visa is more hassle, money n headache.
The government didn't trick u. There are diffrent visas designed for different situations, u have to decide which one best fits ur situation.

2) his wife works in a Chinese RESTURANT in AMERICA (where after she goes home to HIM Every day)
3) they are trying to get their child (yes he's urs to buddy) to AMERICA.
Husband/step dad lives in America
Wife/Mother lives in America
Son/Step son lives NOT IN AMERICA.
