Went in my interview today and got approved.

we went on the 14th also... and they sent us away too the IO said they probably didnt have our file yet...

I think they know if you are approved before you get there... We really expected more questions.. he didnt ask how we met or when ,,basically reviewed our file confirmed a few things asked for one document and that was it... I have no doubt you will do great.... hope you dont stress to much... goodluck!! will be waiting to see your approval update

Ty! To be honest not alot...he asked why we chose to file k1.. Said we could of married while nigel was here and he would of still been able to stay...that we should of came and talked to them about the different options..hellllo to late now lol....he asked for a copy of nigels divorce decree...we sent one but we had a copy with us...then reminded us of the 2 year removal etc... Told us to keep all of our joint documents for then... He didnt want them today...confirmed a few things with nigel like his parents first names etc nothing like we expected it to be...im sure u will do just fine!!

Interview was a breeze...done for 2 years! Seemed to take forever to get here! But I also feel blessed as I know it takes much longer for some... Good luck to all those with up coming interviews!!!

EAD Production Text/email received as of 7:20pm EST Nov 8, 2011.

I have my interview on Nov 14th so I don't even know if it will do me any good .

Would have like to have received it a week or so earlier. But still happy either way.

We have also now received 3 interview dates for the Jacksonville office. Since we received a notice from the local office rescheduling us to the 14th we are going to show up to that one... I guess if they send us away we will be back on the 28th. Although it still makes me worry about not showing up on the 10th..

I havent received the physical letter yet, but magically, my Online Status is working again and is in the "TESTING & REVIEW" stage and thats where i read they sent out another IL.

Ah.ok. I hope it's just a mistake on their part.

oh my gosh, now they sent me a THIRD interview letter for Dec 8th. (Not a cancellation, not a reschedule). I have no idea what they are doing with my application.

Patv, since we seem to be getting the same kind of dates... I wanted to check my online case status just out of curiosity and while it has been on "initial review' for my i485, today i checked it and i got this: Your case information is incomplete within Case Status Online. For further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

Did you experience a similar message? I called the number and they said theres nothing wrong with the application and its just a problem with the online system. I know i've been reading that the online system rarely gets updated so you shouldnt go by it but who would update it only to pull information off of it?

Anyways I got an infopass set for tomorrow morning (Friday) so I'm going to ask about that in addition to the 2nd interview notice and i'll let you know about that.

Regarding EAD: I've been stalking everyone's signatures in earlier filer threads and what I'm seeing is people are getting notified of their EAD approval approximately 60 days after their NOA received dates. And then they end up getting their physical card about 7-10 days after that. So even with quick interview dates, they're probably getting their EAD cards a day or so before or after their initial interview dates.

also did some googling about multiple notices and cancellations: A lot of people are advising that people go to their original interview dates because even though you get a hard copy from a centralized office, supposedly the local IO's arent aware and mark them down as no-shows. Its really frustrating and I'd like to believe in the system but here's a couple links and let you decide on your own. I'm definitely going to go to the 11/14 one and possibly the 11/29 one if the IO tells me I should. But now I'm thinking about going to the 11/10 one too. Although seeing as I actually got a reschedule from 11/10 to 11/14 directly addressed from the JAX office, the IO's there SHOULD be well aware of the change.

Thanks for sharing this links. In my opinion i think i'll just go to the Nov.14 schedule since we got the letter of cancellation of our interview and got a new date directly from the jacksonville office. Reading this links they just got the letter of cancellation of their interview and never receive another date yet that's why probably they think at that time it's better to show up to the cancelled date. It's just my opinion. like what i said your lucky coz jacksonville office is not that far from you.

Ok So i called the USCIS hotline again just for giggles, and got someone who sounded relatively young, and competent. Spoke clearly and made every effort to understand my specific question.

They basically said since you did not receive a cancellation notice for your rescheduled 11/14/11 interview, show up to the 11/14 interview date and bring both notices (11/14 and 11/29). Supposedly they should let me in and have my interview that day. Explain to the IO's at the interview that I have 2 dates, and after having my intial interview, a) they're going to either cancel the 11/29 interview or b) determine that i need to come in for a 2nd interview, and keep the 11/29 date since it is already reserved for me.

Of course, this is just what the guy on the phone said to me and what i interpreted so I think i'm just going to go the 11/14 one and notify my lawyer of that date and take my chances that what the USCIS phone guys says is true. If you are in the same boat as me, don't take this post as truth as I may be wrong and all cases are different. Of course if I change my mind and decide to go to the infopass, i'll update again.

I hope they're right but either way i got no choice but to show up i rather drove over there twice rather than receiving a letter saying that they denied my application because i didn't show up for the interview. That's some roadtrip. You're better off flying lol. I'll let you know what the info pass reveals or if i get something in the mail as that would save a drive for my wife and I.

Yea i know what you're saying.your lucky you're not that far from jacksonville you can just do infopass.For me It's like 6 hours drive.
