  1. A major part of adjusting is allowing the other person to JUST BE. At some point you'll realize who you courted online/over the phone and met in person is not who you married (both parties may feel this.) You can overcome this, but you both have to want it. Watch your spouse sprout their wings in self-discovery and you do the same.

      I so agree. It takes time..and the will to want to make your marriage work. It's easy to jump into an unwarranted argument, get mad and point the finger...but wouldn't we rather learn,listen and learn not just from our spouses but from our own internal growth line. Then we can love and that's the end result we all want.
