Hi guys! I just sent my I-751 application today!! the waiting begins again...
-
Approved on the 29th!!! So happy! only 4 days after they received my response to RFE!!!
-
Hi guys,
How long does USCIS make a decision after receiving the response for RFE? Does it really take 60 days?
USCIS got my response last monday June 25. I hope they are working on it right now.
-
bad news for me!!!
just checked my email and USCIS sent me an RFE!!! Ughh!!! 4 months later they will send RFE!!! This is frustating!!! I wonder what is the RFE!!! So sad!!!
-
Unless there is a medical condition involved that would prevent them from taking care, it might be an option. However you will need a lot of evidence for that, and all expedites are reviewed on case by case basis. Currently your case doesn't fall into the expedite category.
That is really sad to know. But thank you all!!
I wish there's a way i can be with her faster. I dont want her to feel abandoned by her own mom.
-
Unfortunately this doesn't qualify for expedite. The child is being taken care of so there is no extreme emergent situation. Her father living in another city has nothing to do with an expedite either.
Thank you. But my grandparents said they are not as strong like before and cant take care of her anymore. They are 67 and 69 yrs old.

Hi guys,
My husband filed for 1-130 for my daughter that lives in my country. We wanna request to expedite the case but we dont know which category we fall in. Can you guys help? The reason is my grandparents are the ones who takes care of her and they are getting older and cant keep up with her like before. Her dad abandoned him a long time ago and lives in a different city. We wanna get her soon. I wanna take care of her and give the love and care that she needs. She is only 7yrs old. Can you guys tell me which category i should choose to expedite her case? Is it extreme emergent situation? Please help and tell me how to do the first step. Your comments will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance!

can you get somebody to go into your mailbox back home?
unfortunately. No. :/
-
Yes. Thats why i need to know the receipt number asap. I hope i can find a way to find out.
-
I would say enjoy your holidays....Even if you get your receipt number the only case update you probably will have is that your case is in review and will be in review for a good time...time enough for you come back home and get your hard copy on your mail box! I do understand that we all want to get everything as fast is possible but honestly at this point of the game your holidays will give you more pleasure and fun than your case number.Still calling $$$$$$$$ is the only way you probably could get your number $$$$$$$$...!
Have fun
Thank you. I know that It will be in review for a long time. The only reason I want to know the receipt number is because I need to call them as soon as possible because I need to tell them that I forgot to fill out the city and country on box 22 on the I-130 form. So that they can fix it and I will not have to pay another fee in the future.

It's been a couple of years since I sent a petition to USCIS, but they used to print the case number on the back of the check when they canceled it. Can you view the cashed check online with your bank?
Thanks! but its a money order. I dont know If I can view it online. :/
-
I see that you never sent with your file the form G-1145 to get your NOA1 approve by text or email....if so you would have your case number on that text or email.
yes I did not include that. is there a way to get the receipt number?
-
you can call the usics and get the number,i did this before
Thanks! May I ask what exactly did you tell them? And how soon did you call after you filed it?
Im afraid they are just gonna tell me to wait :/

Hi guys,
My USC husband filed an I-130 petition for my daughter right after we went on vacation. I just checked the that filing fee has been cashed out already. Is there a way to know my receipt number with out the hard copy of NOA1? I am still on vacation and not coming home til next month. I would like to keep on track of the case. But I dont know my receipt number yet. Is there a way to know?
-
Update!! The OP said she contacted USCIS and they forwarded it to NVC without filing I-824. Thats great news for me!! As soon as I get my NOA1 I will contact them.
But does that works only for USC or it doesn't matter?
-
I would need more details from the OP in the other thread before I could comment about what happened there. It would be very unusual for USCIS to approve a petition and then ask for an I-824 before sending it to NVC. I've never heard of this before.
Okay. I messaged the OP and waiting for the reply. I hope she will soon. Cos Im so worried that it will cause delay to the process and cost me more money. Please let me know when you find out something. Thanks again.
To other members please share your experience

I was presuming the OP was talking about the beneficiary's city and country. However, I should have looked at the form before I made my comment. Box 22 is to list either the city and state where the beneficiary will apply for adjustment of status, or the city and country where they will apply for a visa. If the beneficiary's address was given correctly in part B then they probably WON'T send an RFE. Box 22 says "Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status", but then provides a separate section to enter the city and country where they will apply for a visa if they're not going to apply for adjustment of status.
In any case, it wouldn't affect the ability of USCIS to send an RFE because they would still have the petitioners address.
Thanks JimVaPhuong! Yes I was talking about beneficiary's city and country where she will be applying for the visa. So you are saying this should'nt be a problem? I saw a thread with the same situation as mine but hers is approved already and USCIS wants her to file I-824. Here is the link to thread.

Anybody here knows if I can contact USCIS and send a revised I-130 and put the City and Country on box 22?
-
Maybe you can find some info about a Fee Waiver ...
Thank you. But form I-824 is not listed there for a fee waiver. can somebody share their experience regarding to this matter? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys,
I just filed I-130 for my daughter in the Philippines. I just realized I forgot to put the City and Country on Box no. 22. I just found out that if petition is approved I will have to file form I-824 and pay $400 to send it to NVC.
Is there a way I can do to avoid filing that? Can I contact them and send a revised I-130? Please help!
Thank u so much!

So, the card comes in the mail they sent on the 13??
Thanks
Most likely, Yes. If thats the last approval email they sent you.
My wife came to US on K3 visa in August.
I have applied AOS for her in September.
She completed her Biometrics appointment on Nov 5th.
Received her EAD on Nov 20th.
From then, we did not hear anyhting back from USCIS regarding her green card.
Its been over 4 months since we applied for her adjustment of status to green card.
Still Waiting................
Can anyone help me on whats going on.
Thanks,
Praneeth
Check how long is the processing time based on where you live. If its been over the processing time, you should definitely give them a call and see whats going on. Goodluck!

Hey guys:
I'm wondering something, and i hope someone can help me.
On Jan 9: i got an email and txt saying that my ead was ordered "card production"
Then,
On Jan 13: i got another email and txt saying:Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity.
Does this mean my case went backwords! or my card should come attached in this letter??
Thanks
No. They will send you multiple updates. Just disregard it. You'll get it 2-3days after the last approval email you will get. Maximum 10days from the first approval update.

I-751 fee waiver

Hi guys,
I just have a question on how to calculate household income. For the fee waiver your income must be at or below 150% poverty line.
My household size is 2 just me and my husband. For calculating the income do I have to include his income or just my income? On our last year tax return we filed jointly.
My income alone is below 150% but with his income its above poverty line which means we dont qualify.
Can I just use my income alone even if we filed joint return last year?? Please help as We cant afford to pay the filing fee at the moment.
