test company issued a letter with footnote stating US embassy not accepting test kit. Submitted that with other evidence.

USICS reissued RFE with extended time (Feb 2021) for DNA test results. I guess the officer wants to see the result. Company still saying embassy is not accepting kit in Dhaka Bangladesh

Following up from this about PCR DNA test:

RFE location: USCIS CA (WAC12xxx..) for F3, deadline Oct 24

Two facilities (from the AABB accredited list) in USA said for the beneficiary - the petitioner living in USA can do it through a clinic but the beneficiary needs to schedule with the Dhaka embassy. The DHK embassy definitely has huge backlog (closed for 5 months).

Does anybody know of any company that can collect DNA for beneficiary through any clinic or facilities in Bangladesh and not only through the DHK embassy ?

Thanks. I contacted two of the companies, both said they will take DNA from Bangladesh through Dhaka embassy (which is closed for five months now, so huge backlog).

I will try regional forums to see if anybody knows of any company doing it through clinics.

Hi,

We have received a RFE from USCIS (I-130 for F3) for secondary evidence as birth certificate is issued 30+ years after birth. The secondary evidence they are asking are hard, or even impossible. They also mentioned voluntary DNA test.

However, the AABB accredited (43 of them) sites from PCR DNA test are not anywhere close to where out beneficiary lives (Bangladesh). Closest ones are Philippines, Hong Kong and China.

So, how can we still do DNA test? Does the beneficiary need to travel to those sites in person? Any other option for DNA test?

I think the issue is its state dependent. So some people post things that are true but its only possible because of the state they live in. The best place to go to is the marketplace. It will tell you if you qualify. Either online or with a rep over the phone or in person if needed.

That came out wrong. What I meant is ... around = people they talk to, like at the community centers etc, people without experience or somehow donot want to disclose 'trade secrets'. The reason I asked here at VJ is to get to know from people who knows about it or at least know of somebody going through it. 'Around' not equal (!=) here in VJ, therefore I asked. Sorry for the miscommunication.

My in laws are thinking of moving to Florida as Green Card holders. Healthcare is important for them as they are relatively older and several pre existing conditions including diabetes and heart related problems.

They are currently green card holders (for 1 year) and very little income (more or less approx 700 a month), no taxes filed yet (will do for 2017). No dependents and currently no insurance.

The Florida Medicaid program page is less than useless (or it could be my research skills, but the info on the ACCESS Florida pages are not useful at all). Father said he called the hotline and they just said they wont be eligible. They applied through their web application and got denied. The denial just says not eligible. After calling the # listed on the letter - they said to get through healhcare.gov/ACA.

Anybody here know about the medicaid options in Florida? like who are eligible and if they can be?

Oath scheduled, do not know the date yet as that we will only know from the mailed letter.

From oath trends for this area, I think it will be 4th of July (they do a big ceremony about it here). But who knows ....

You just need to include 1 year. But you need the "total income" number for the last 3 years.

Yeah - last time I sent the AOS to NVC, I included only once years. 3 years is optional - though certainly wont hurt.

I am sending one year because I had the transcript.

Thank you both. I will ask for the barcode sheet then and include a cover letter.

I guess I need to take the little risk of getting my info on their hand if they give it back on interview. I hope the embassy do not, but who knows.

Hi, a friend of mine asked me to to be a joint sponsor for his wife and 1 yr old child for IR-1. I understand I need to fill I-864 with Tax transcript.

My question is, where do I send this I-864? Do I attach the barcode page on top and send it directly to NVC (just like I did for my wifes CR-1, I didnot need a joint/co sponsor)?

Or do I send this to my friend (which i find a little risky, I do not want him to have all my information - for privacy purposes) and then he send it to NVC?

Hi,

I saw you already being scheduled for the interview at the embassy last month. Did you end up sent the police clearance certificate along with your DS-230 package?

No, we didnot send the PCC with DS230. We sent a copy of the receipt and in a cover letter we mentioned she will present it at the interview. They accepted the DS230 without any RFE, and asked for the PCC at the interview window.

Ok, my spouse is approved for her visa.

She was asked -

What I do

How we met

What my parents do (especially my dad)

She was asked for our wedding pictures and asked to identify some people

And then he said he is approving her, handed all the originals. She was given a pink card and told to pick visa up from some other place (probably courier or something) on Monday.
