NVC-call-of-the-day! First try: call dropped… Second try: "Yes, your file has been sent today." Yay!

Hmm, I called NVC by myself and they told us the same thing as yesterday, and that "it takes 5 to 10 days for your case to go to Paris", "ok, so have it left NVC yet?", "it takes 5 to… blahblah", "ok, but is it possible to know if my case left NVC and when exactly?", "grmblblblbl…", "ok…" Does that mean my case left?

Sooo after begging to the fiance for calling NVC because it's been 7 days since NOA2 ("but babe, I don't want to call, it's written 30 days on the notice", "…"), he did and learnt that NVC received our case today and assigned it a case number! \o/

Stupid question (or not): do I need the original of my fiance's naturalization certificate for the K-1 interview?

So apparently they sent our case straight to the embassy without going to NVC..is what USCIS said...anybody in the same situation?

Within the last 3 days our case was recieved by the NVC, left the NVC, and has arrived at the embassy in Stockholm! Now that is something!

just got our NVC case number.. and the representative told me they will send the petition to Stockholm tomorrow or Thursday! yayyy!

Our petition has been approved in january 13th and still no Noa2 on the mail.. What shoud we do? Anybody in the same case?

Just checked the USCIS website the on that always said your petition cannot be found at this time to find this:

i wish i could say everything is fine but this long wait is badly, badly, badly affecting our relationship and we are already considering withdrawing the petition by the end of the month. i just want to thank all of my vj friends for the support.

Visa APPROVED!!!! I'll post review later on today. Still getting all the details. But we're SO happy!!! He'll be home next week. I'm still in tears.

7 months, 2 weeks and 2 days since noa1. i really hope csc would look at our case before we reach our 8th month.
