      Not really sure. They said that a request had been made to send it to a local field office but we only know that because that's what tier2 said when hubby called. Then email arrived saying it had been approved. Once we get formal notice it might say where it was sent from and then I will let you know.

      Hubby just emailed me copy of hard copy of I-797 NOA2 It never left the NBC.

    hello how you doing...i am wondering if you did hear back from the NBC as for the expedite request you recieved back to sept 13 2013....i recieved the same note you did recieve on sept 30 2013..with a timeframe 30 to 60 days to be reviewed,,,i am wondering if there is any update about your case...thanx for your time

      I don't know if it was transferred to a local office, but if it s was...it would have been to St. Louis. But I really don't know if it came here or stayed at NBC.

      well i decided now to email the ombudsman to see about if he will give me a hand on this case since i heard that the government would shutdown i don't know if this is the truth but i will have to get a hold on this case with ombudsman hopefully i get somewhere with this because this waiting time for me became so hard...i tried to call the ombudsman using the phone numbers but i didnt get a hold of a humain which i left a voice mail in there and noone called me back which i am wondering di...

      The Ombudsman's office prefers online contact, so if you emailed them, it will be more likely to reach them! They should email you soon if you included your case number in the subject line of the email. At least this is what they did for me.

    hello...i have just got to see a comment from you under a topic stating you did contact ####### durbin and he helped you to get approved...well i recently contacted him and i am going to deal with one of his office workers to help me inquire about my case and my question is how long it took them to get your case get approved ?thanx for your time

      They didnt help me get approved. ..they just inquired about why it took so long to have my noa2 get to the NVC... it had been 2 months and should only have been 15 days.. once they checked into it my packet made it to the NVC within days :) it was a guy named Matt at the office.. very nice to work with!!

      It was transferred to NBC who then transferred it to the Atlanta local office which kept receiving our I130s for several months before deciding how to deal with them!
