    Contacted USCIS Ombudsman. AOS is currently at 9 months, 1 week and 6 days of waiting :(

      Mine took just under 10 month to be approved but no interview was good. I'm sure yours will come soon... Maybe tomorrow, maybe the day after, but definitely some day after that.

    One year to the day that I moved to America... And I finally have my greencard in hand. No more immigration now for 2 years

      Thanks guys :-) Yes it was transfered Donna & Paul. I put in a service request and got a standard email reply saying I just had to wait basically and I was just about to call a senator when I got approved

    Just contacted my congressman about my AOS wait time. Probably wont do anything but I'll try anything right now.

      I stopped counting ages ago lol. I put in a service request last month and received an email basically telling me that they would process my application when they got round to it. Will be contacting a senator soon

      I just called USCIS and they said California service Centre would call me within 14 days to let me know what is going on. If they don't call then USCIS advised me to contact government office

      7 month for me too... It is because we got transfered. A friend of mine who was at 9 month contacted a congressman and they got it transfered back to her local office and they have an interview early next month. She said writing to your senator would be best though

      Yeah I got work authorization within a month of applying. Waiting for aos is frustrating because it means that I'm now 5-6 month behind a lot of those that applied at the same time... But apart from that it doesn't really make a difference... It would be nice to have a green card though. How are you and Chris doing?

      How long is processing time?? I filed a month and a half after you and I am still waiting too. Kinda sucked when I saw everyone else get approved in August but I thought that waiting a little longer would make up for not having an interview.... now I'm

      Mine took exactly 7 days to arrive. I received a text message telling me usps had picked up the package a couple of days prior to it getting delivered

    mailed our AOS package off yesterday! very exciting and so much less stressful knowing chris is by my side. waiting seems easier now. can you believe he is actually enjoying arizona summers! yuck.

      good luck :) AOS wasnt that hard at all i didnt think and im sure it will all go smoothly for us. im still waiting to get my NOA1 but my package only got delivered a couple of days ago

    passed both the theory and the driving test yesterday so i now have a Georgia drivers license which is valid until my I-94 runs out. lesat now i wont be refused alcohol because my UK license isnt 'valid ID' in some places lol

      i never thought about using my passport but i dont like carrying it about anyway. yeah i knew i could drive on my UK license... i just wanted a Georgia ID and i thought a drivers license would be good seen as i would have to get one eventually anyway. i just need to renew it now when i get my EAD :)
