  1. I send good thoughts to your FIL and the family. I am sorry for his suffering. If u are anything like my husband coming from Morocco and a good family...I know why he loves u. My Mother and husband also enjoy an endearing friendship. My mom knows her daughter is loved and honored by a KIND man whom loves his parents just the way he loves mine.

    Stay strong rose.gif

  2. If there was another denial like the first with the K1

I was willing to stay and live with him in Morocco until we exausted all possiblitites of getting his visa approval. It was too much to be apart and waiting.

There are American schools and beautiful coastal places to live for my family. Or as another young lady mentioned, Europe.

What I really wanted is for US to have the choice of where we could live together. Not the consulate. yes.gif

  3. The three running on the flag reminds me of the warning signs on the freeway of illiegal immgrants crossing sign

to make one aware while driving that we have at a border check here in San Deigo. Dont like it for VJ

The one with the figure taking a journey on the road captured the "visa journey" it showed the long road...

I am not crazy about the childlike drawings of three people on the flag.

But the Captain tends to make good descions !!!smile.png

  4. wow WOM it looks very tranquil in your gardens!!! I also love it that the pumpkin was an unexpected surprise...I will have to do that next October and not roast and eat all of the seeds.

My Hibiscus just throw its first bloom of the season!! I will take a pic and share.

  5. From what I have seen on here...foreverwaiting was a rare situation of consular requesting beneficiary to call the U.S.C. in America

    and

When we were at the Consulate in CASA.... they make you check your items at the security machine into individual bins/shelves behind the security men standing there. They take the gum, cigarettes, cell phones etc... But if u ask me, if he is more comfortable not having extra things to deal with at the interview, let him make the choice. He will have ENOUGH to think about. :)

Ismail&Blair ~ there is no LOBBY in the consulate.

  6. Tany! Hope it gets better for him. Does he have any Moroccans or Arab speakers around there?

We cant change the way it is in America but I was thinking what is close to your family and his time spent can improve for him.

My SO also had a big upheaval and wished to go back, He left everything he knew in his one neighborhood, all family/friends, food, beach, independence, employment, property etc...

We try to stay busy with overnight trips locally, outdoor projects in the gardens and even quiet nights together playing backgammon. Right now we watch MAD MEN episodes together on netflix before retiring at night

I guess I am suggesting to try harder to make it better for your family time. You have a young boy right? Do they share interests? Soccer? Fishing? Maybe he will be excited to teach him more of his languages? Maybe you two can cook his favorite Moroccan dishes together? Maybe he can skype and his mother or sister can guide u two with recipes?

How about local community college classes? Maybe he can find something of interest there to change his employment situation?

Did he get his drivers license? That is something that can keep both of you busy...we are going through this now

For us here, I personally wish there was a Muslim community near by but instead we often visit the international market and sometimes one can bump into a conversation that give him a chance to speak his language with another.

Make more friends together that are "multicultural" and stay off FACEBOOK. yuck.

I hope it improves for you both (F)
