  1. I'm finalizing my I-130 packet and have one quick question.... I'm sending photo's from our time together in Gambia as proof of our relationship but I'm wondering if I need to write dates and a short description on the back of each photo. Please let me know what you all have done.

    Thanks all!!

I sent 8 photo's of us in different events, I didn't write anything on the backs of the photo's I sent!!

    There was never a problem.....

  2. Hello VJ'ers,

While I love my husband dearly the man snores to beat the band and it is actually becoming a huge problem as it keeps me up all night and I am not getting any sleep. I go to bed with him and stay until he falls asleep hoping that I can fall asleep before him but it never works, he falls asleep in like seconds lol. I almost always end up getting up because I just can't stand it. I am so frustrated and tired that I am quite cranky a lot. I know he can't help it and he feels bad but I am becoming quite resentful towards him because of it. When he starts up I just want to shout at him to shut up so I can get some sleep for once. I never do thought, I just quietly as I can get out of bed so I don't disturb him and go read or do something else that is quiet so I do not disturb him.

We have talked about it and he know that it is a big problem but we have no clue what to do short of me or him sleeping on the couch which is not really an option at all.

Anyone else have this issue or advice?

I highly recommend ANTI-SNORING APPLIANCE This device fits snugly on the upper teeth and uses normal body reflexes to keep the airway open. When the jaw closes, the lower teeth close onto the 'ramp' of the device. This keeps the jaw in a normal position, rather than sagging back into the trachea (which is the cause of snoring).

  3. Hello,

Today my wife and I received (2) emails from NVC, PAOSF-I-130 and ACL

I read Page 1 herethe say's "When can I email the DS-3032"? "Right after you get your case number." So my wife and I made the Email template from the shortcut here on Vjand emailed it to NVC from my wife's email account on Thursday March 8th. NVC never responded to the DS-3032 Email.

Well today the $88 AOS Bill generated and I paid it and printed out the Document cover sheet. I called NVC and asked the Operator

ME: "Have you received the DS-3032 Email from my wife's account"?

Operator: "No, did she fill-out the form, sign it and Emailed it back as a document"?

ME: "No, She Emailed but, not as a word document"!

Operator: "She needs to fill-out the form, Sign the document, scan it and then Email it and an attachment"!

    ME: "Ok, Thanks"!

In (2) more days the bill will show as paid, at that pint should I just send the AOS package to the NVC without a DS-3032 responses? or do as the operator say's and spend more time having my wife fill-out this form, sign, scan and Email?

    Thanks

    Robert

  4. Hi had interview today with consulate and they rejected us because my wife hasn't filed a income tax return for 2011. But she hasn't been living in the USA for 2011 how do they think we can do this. I will be using money left for me by family as they have passed away recently to help us to relocate to the USA. We have even proved it by using a solicitor letter what should we do next any help will be greatly appreciated.

The last day to file 2011 Taxes is on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, therefore Your wife must not have filed Taxes for 2010 - nor included the Transcripts in the package. Even if she didn't earn any wages she must still file a tax return for the prior year.....

  5. I have a question with regard to form DS3025 Choice of Agent. When I petition for my parent few years ago, NVC mailed the DS3025 form to me which I mailed to my parent residing outside United States. After signing and authorizing me as the agent, she mailed it back to me, then I mailed it to NVC. I heard that one can save the time and cost of mailing by doing all this through email. Please I was just wondering if one can tell me how this can be done through email. Thanks.

    Yes!

    [DS-3032 Email Template here]

Please read and follow the information as printed!

  6. The above statement is wrong! I suggest you get your facts together before leading people astray. He can have his interview done in Sydney as long as he is a legal to live in Australia. If his visa (Australia)is still valid at the time of the interview he will surely be fine. There is no law prohibiting anyone living in another country from having his or her visa interview done outside the person home country. A couple of my friends on here have been through the same process and they were fine. The key thing here is to have a valid visa at the time of the interview and I sincerely believe that OP will be fine since he has a student visa.

    TRUE!!!

  7. mine valid for 1 yr its a good thing that i have a work permit coz my GC had some correction when I received it my middle name incorrect so just a month a go I filed I-90 to replace my GC and I am schedule for biometric this week..Thanks I hope it wont take long after biometric i heard it takes 3-6 months to process to replace the green card so when you got a notice for your GC make sure all information are correct otherwise you will need to file to replace it and if its your mistake they would ask you to pay again..

    HELLO,

I see you applied in your visa in Hong Kong, I want to ask you a question please....

HK police says The applicant should bring The original and a photocopy letter from the relevant Consulate / Immigration Authority / Government Authority, which contains his or her name and clearly indicates that the production of the Certificate is required.

they said, they will send it directly by registered mail to the relevant Consulate / Immigration Authority / Government Authority within four calendar weeks."

How did this work for your wife?

    Thank You

  8. I have (2) Questions about the I-864EZ

#1) Country of Domicile: I am a (USC) and have always lived in America since birth, What do I write in box 10 for country? or do i leave it blank?

#2) Question number #19 say's (adjusted gross income on IRS Form 1040EZ),Is the I-864EZ form only for people that filed Form 1040EZ with the IRS? I ask because 2011 i filed 1040.

    Thanks

    Robert

  9. For real?! Wow, that's nice. I didn't claim any income from my spouse but still send it in to the IRS office in Texas to get an ITIN number. Well, I'll see in about 2 more weeks if it has been accepted or not. This is good to know.

So, you didn't submit any paperwork right? Such as your wife's passport (notarized copy.

    NO!!

There was no need as i said. The IRS Agent prepared my taxes in the Austin, Texas office, made me a copy and stamp dated the IRS RED STAMP on each and gave me a copy for my records!!

  10. Do you know if it has been accepted or not? did you her ITIN# from IRS?

The IRS did did my taxes in there office, so yes they accepted it on February 1, 2012. They told me my wife don't need a ITIN from the IRS unless she has income i need to claim on my taxes.

Again, this was done at the IRS OFFICE here in Texas!

Also, I gave a IRS Stamped copy to my wife to bring to her interview, this will show that i filed as married!

  11. Hi Vjers,

I made a payment for the I-864 last Friday and it is showing as "PROCESSING" while the IV Bill is showing as "NOT INVOICED."

QUESTION: At which point or After which action will I be able to pay for the IV Bill? (Currently it is grayed out).

Note: The beneficiary already sent DS-3032 last Friday as well via email.

Thanks in advance for any comments

Have you already received your NVC Case#?
