We met in September of 2010. I was going for a friends wedding and ended up falling in love! He is the nephew of my friend's husband. From the first nigh of meeting him, there was something there! I went for the third time in June and he proposed on my birthday at a restaurant near the beach :) Sent my k-1 on July 12, 2011 :) He arrived to US on 1/12/12 and married on 4/15/12. The rest is history ;-)

Went to Civil Surgeon today. She said it takes 2 weeks ! Tried to apply for permit but visa expired So now we have to wait until we get EAD card. BUT he can drive with Dominican license up to one year!
Also regardless of doing your medical exam and vaccines in DR if his vaccination record says incomplete he still needs to get vaccines here. In the end DR in my case was more expensive.
