    We met in September of 2010. I was going for a friends wedding and ended up falling in love! He is the nephew of my friend's husband. From the first nigh of meeting him, there was something there! I went for the third time in June and he proposed on my birthday at a restaurant near the beach :) Sent my k-1 on July 12, 2011 :) He arrived to US on 1/12/12 and married on 4/15/12. The rest is history ;-)

    Update: We're going on 2 years of my hubby being here! Unbelievable! We're doing well and overcoming all obstacles that have come our way. His daughter is still with us, she will be returning home next month or march with AP and returning in June to wait for her GC. She will then leave to DR to live with her mother for good and visit us in the summers.(After all of the hassle, that was the agreement) We're also going on 2 years of marriage in April. Time flies!       Noelia, thank you! Yes I completely agree about her being with her mommy, I'm happy it happened this way, this way we could all get along better.. The thing is that she wanted to make her lose her papers and us send her before the process was over after spending a lot on getting everything done.. But thankfully we were able to come up with a reasonable agreement and she didn't let her daughter lose her papers :-)

      Is good that this you guys could work out an arrangement. I don't think children always belong with their mother. In my son's case, the best thing that happen was when he went to live with his father at a very young age. He has a relationship with his mother and I encouraged it more than his father, but it was in his best interest to live with dad.
