There is only one way to find out if he will be approved and that is to apply for the petition. The advice given here is very accurate but when a person is in love and determined they will do as they wish. Unfortunately, being confident and having money does not guarantee anything with this process when dealing with Casa consulate. I have seen countless of married couples be denied after having met all the requirements much less a K-1 visa. For those of us that have come before you all I can say is prepare him for what he will experience and much of the preparing only comes from the shared experiences from members of this site. Don't take anything personal just extract what you will need to set him up for success. As I have told my 20 and 22 year olds, sometimes we have no clue or are aware that we don't know something.
We wish everyone here luck, take what you really need from all this advice, even if you don't know.

I am sorry for your experience but thank you for sharing it could help others...GBU

Keep in mind that civil documents in Morocco are only valid for 90 days. I have seen many cases mine included where the documents had to be redone because NVC and the consulate took over 90 days to process the visa request and schedule an interview. Any documents front loaded have to be redone by the time the entire process is complete.

You pay $88 for the Affidavit of Support not for any adjustment of status. The fees you will not see outright are the translation of all civil documents, and the medical exams they are not cheap out translator charge rates equivalent to US rates and documents have to have his translator number and an official stamp for the consulate to accept them ($30 per page average). The medical ex cost 1500 dirham plus any travel back and forth, the costs add up.
Good luck,

Everyone applying after 8/15 is routed to the NBC center, then following that, you may be routed to yet another center (a field office) which would be back in California given that that is your state of residence.
This is a GOOD thing as these petitions are seeming to be handled in a more timely manner and if the timeline progresses the same as it has in the past, then you should be approved in roughly 3 months.
As for a new year wedding, it's totally possible. But only for 2014. Sorry.
To add to your question on NVC and getting the interview scheduled, it takes average of 45 days or faster if you submit what they ask for faster. It took us 21 days to provide everything and them 24 to process everything. Once NVC is done it takes an average of 2 months for the interview to be held. Hopefully he is not placed on AP which can be another wait up to 13 months for the longest case I have seen. I have seen all types of timeframes each case can be different.
Good luck,

The cooking conversation made me smile. I found an easy lobia recipe on YouTube Moroccan dishes by Alia, my hubby rushed out of the shower when he smelled it lol I made his night more special by making him coconut and almond trouffles oh he was in heaven. I also found Ras el Hanout seasoning for tagines and I made him a fish tagine boy was he happy. I can only find instant couscous, I can't eat it after having the real thing.
I have to learn some more dishes interesting enough when I was in Morroco I cooked all sorts of American dishes. I cooked dinner everyday lol mom loved that lol and my brother-in-laws loved lasagna, meatloaf and enchiladas. They miss my food

We used other things to show a bonafide marriage, we bought a house together with a power of attorney, in Texas the husband has to be on the deed, he had an ITIN, we had life insurance together, I added him to my military records, letter from his mom attesting that she saw us co-mingling funds and transfer of funds and several visits. We added him to the bank accounts until after his arrival. There is other ways to prove a bonafide relationship.
Good luck,
-
Is your husband in the U.S.?
If not it may be impossible even if he had ITIN or SSN, since the bank will need his original signature on the signature card.
Too easy just mail him the signature card, get his original signature and send it back. That's if the bank accepts his forms of ID and allows that he be added to the account.

Difference between NOID and NOIR, NOID you can reapply but NOIR you can no longer apply for a visa as stated above because of fraud. In the case of NOIR you are suppose to get an opportunity to provide further evidence to overcome the CO findings. I have seen both NOID and NOIR be overcome and case forwarded to NVC for a second interview. Get some legal counseling...
Good Luck,

Sounds like you are in AP especially if DOS can see that statis, my husband was told he would be called in one week, two weeks top for the result of the application. He was called back for a second interview after 62 days. If they kept your passport it is a good sign. Is there any red flags on your case? Age difference, prior petitions by your spouse, prior domestic violence? The CO is required to inform you if you are not the first person petitioned by your spouse for your protection.
Ap could end soon or last a while there was a case this past month that lasted 13 months.
Good luck,
-
He can only file jointly if you have a SSN or an ITIN and you have to sign the tax return. If you don't file that should be ok as you were not allowed to work with out one or the other so you could not have contributed any income. It is up to you but if you are divorcing him I don't see the point he can file alone.
Maybe someone else can add to this topic,

It all depends what the 221g states, it will say if the case is being sent back to USCIS or if she needs to present the correct documents.
Good luck,

tree month of pregnancy and we have already filled form i864ez this form sponsor one person not like simple form i864
so if my baby born in morroco i have to do follow to-join that mean nvc will try to add new born in form i864ez and ther will not will be no place in the form to add him . should i complete new form i864 at that time to add him and benefit for following to join or i must follow process of filling new petition
u realy help me thank u so much im sorry for asking u more question but thank u so so much info that u gave me are so important
Just curious why do you keep asking the same questions? I answered this twice under different threads you have posted and I know you learned something as you are referring to the benefit to follow I researched for you but you don't recall the sponsorship answer. Read the benefit to follow on the State Department website, it clearly outlines what others have explained to you, green card 2013 and Sunrise USA. We are rooting for you that is why we have answered your questions but don't worry so much in time the baby will be born, you can get his/her documents collected and just request for benefits to follow it is not that complicated.
Good luck,

The AOS instructions clearly give you instructions on how to count your household, any dependent child under age 21 has to be counted regardless if they live with you or not. As stated you can get a co-sponsor to meet the poverty guidelines but not mentioning them can potentially be viewed as a misrepresentation.
-
The instructions for counting household members on the Affidavit of support state to count any dependent child under the age of 21 regardless of where they live. That dOes not clarify the grand baby but read it carefully and see what you think.
Good luck,

If her intent is to get a 10 year tourist visa she does not have to wait until you are close to getting your visa.. She can apply now, the CO approving the visa will decide what she gets, can she be denied? Yes if she does not show string ties to her country.
Good luck

As stated previously provide the documents that annulled the marriage and as the only one being interviewed is your wife she better be ready to explain the wedding pics dated July 2010 before you divorced, bigamy, the annulment etc,,,
You never claimed the first marriage for the petition so I think you are ok with no misrepresentation..the pics just make for a sticky situation..
Good luck...

According to the Casa consulate website just write them a letter or send an email with the case number, name, full address and phone number and they will reschedule the interview. I say just call them now and reschedule ahead of time it never hurts to ask.
Good luck,

Please ask an actual question. I have no idea what you're asking. The sponsor does not have to submit ANY information about ANY assets if they qualify based on income alone. The intending immigrant COULD help their case if the sponsor's income and/or assets are marginal but when there is a well qualified petitioner as sponsor, they immigrant need not provide ANY financial information.
I understand that the immigrant him/herself do not have to submit anything. You stated "Unless there is a tax lien against the sponsor, whether they owe the IRS back taxes has no impact on the public charge issue or any other immigration issue." Can you tell me where you found this information? As a sponsor I was asked for assets, bank history, etc...
Thanks,
-
Or, you can just submit complete copies of the tax returns. Unless there is already a tax lien, PAYMENT of taxes is a separate issue to deal with separately.
This advice is judgmental and has nothing to do with immigration. Unless there is a tax lien against the sponsor, whether they owe the IRS back taxes has no impact on the public charge issue or any other immigration issue.
Can you be so kind to post a link or quote the reference to this answer? I find it interesting that they ask for a sponsor to list any dependent under 21 regardless if they live with you, I had to submit all my assets, bank history for each account, etc...but owing the government money is irrelevant. I am in the learning mode so your input would be great.
-
That is not what the instructions say.
Please to not give inaccurate immigration advice especially advice on ommission of material information on an immigration form.
I stand corrected and I apologize you do have to count them and I can only speak for myself but no one is trying to set the couple up that is a horrible implication.
Good luck on your journey.

Not sure why the reference to the flag, and most of the people replying are American not Moroccan. It seems Sunrise USA and green card 2013 are the two accounts created by the husband and wife. Green card 2013 would use the same pattern of asking the same question in different ways. She is pregnant awaiting her priority date in April also at the NVC stage. They know the interview timeframe due to their priority date. She dropped off and the Sunrise USA started posting initially claiming to be the male LPR in the USA then the male in Morocco awaiting the visa and having the pregnant spouse in the US. I think they are both using the same account answering at different times confusing the gender references. If I understand it correctly he is the LPR she is pregnant in Morocco and they are just trying to get through NVC stage which has been ongoing since Jun which is a lot longer than the 35 days it takes most to close out at NVC. At any rate whoever is the LPR and beneficiary does not matter good luck on your journey.
Figuring out Flights
in Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America

If its necessary to do separate flights fly Royal Air Maroc from Morocco to any stateside port of entry then grab a connecting flight to your destination (give yourself enough time in between at least 6 hours) I did this with my hubby into NYC then had a two day layover (no additional cost) enjoyed the city and I was not worried if he was held over in immigration upon his entry. It would cost $2200 to get him home on a straight flight but no guarantee if he would get through immigration and catch the next flight, therefore; I got two separate flights, two nights in the city and a broadway show all for the same price and no hassle with visas overseas....
Good Luck,
