Congratulations to everyone that has received their date! However, there appears to be a trend that the people getting their dates are people with spouses in Southeast Asia?? Just curious, do they set the appointments by region??

Just got off the phone with NVC, the lady told me our Interview is scheduled for Dec 4th 7:30am.

I am soo happy.

Well maybe each country is different?? However, I had to pay the DS-230 and the AOS (Affidavit of Support fee)on this end,then my husband needs to bring $240.00 to his interview plus his DHL fee.

I would double check if you need a fee at the embassy in Nigeria.

If you paid for DS-230 ($230) and AOS ($88) then you dont have to pay anything at the interview. Please check.

You cant be more wrong. I've known people who have gone thru similar situations(Not Immigration related). Just because you haven't heard of it, doesn't mean it never happens.

As far as this story is concerned , I too think this story has BS written on it. I just don't see how someone could marry anyone without getting to know them.

I married my wife cause i loved her and we both are "NOT Religious" even if we were raised in different faiths, I or my wife for that matter would not have married anyone who was religious.

not able to pay AOS right now when i logged in it says "not invoiced"

we used i-864ez. its smaller and easier to fill.

but you can only use it if you :

1. just sponsoring one relative.

2. just using your income with irs w2. you cant use assets or joint sponser or anything else.

our i-864ez went thru without any issues.

I think you can pay AOS immediately online once you get Case No and Invoice number. But you can only pay IV fee once you send in Choice of Agent Form. You can do this via eamil . well Your beneficiary needs to do this.

DS-230 is to be filled by the relative you are sponsoring and in your case your wife. She needs to fill and sign it and not you.

You only need to mail it to NVC on her behalf with her documents certificate, her passport bio photo-copy and her photos. DS-230 is about her and not you well you're name is mentioned on it but you get my point.

if i send my AOSupport, a week or 2 before my DS-230 , is there a way to see if that has been looked at or completed before they fully complete the case? As in, is there 2 separate confirmations?

you might get a checklist asking for the other document when one of your document has been accepted.

Really looking foward to Interview date.... Free VJ beer on me on the day the interviews starts scheduling. Cmon Hurry up NVC, we're all going crazy here.
