salam everyone i m new member of VJ i m in AP since jan
27th sep 2013 i received a call from embassy. the person who called me asked about expiry date of my medical report (will expire on dec 11 2013) he asked that if embassy issued me a visa can i plan to move to usa before dec 11 i said yes then he asked me ok wait we will contact u in 15days
now my question is what does this call mean?
r they really issue me a visa or investigate about me ?
please comment suggest and guide me

After 10 mOnths and one weekkkk of frustration and depression Under AP, we finally Got call from the US embassy in Cairo to redo the medical and the police clearance...Lhamdulilahh..I hope anybody who goes through this process will hang in there coz everything has end and waiting for beloved one is sooo worth it.

My fiancé's visa was approved this morning in Accra, Ghana!!!!!!! WE ARE ECSTATIC TO SAY THE LEAST! I wanted to thank ALL OF YOU for your kind words of advice, all of your knowledge and expertise, and all of the shared experiences posted on this site. Thank you VisaJourney for being such a great resource. This approval would not have been possible without this great VJ family!

My visa was approved yesterday, the lady that interviewed me just asked this questions:
When did you meet your fiancee?
When was the first time you saw him?
Where does your fiancee work?
How many kids does he have?
What are the kid's names?
Where does he live?
She didn't asked me for any evidence at all....(wooow, I had a bunch of it)
After the questions, she was typing something, then she asked my kids their age.
After she finished typing she smiled and said Welcome to the United States, your visa is approved and you will
get it in 5 days, then she gave me a green paper, that said it was approved and the instructions to track it from DHL......GOD is so awesome. I feel relief, well for now we're finished with the first and more stressful step.

Thank you! London sounds "easy", as opposed to a lot of the other embassies. I'm glad for this but so sad for the people in countries who have a harder time.

We had our interview this afternoon and were approved on the spot. She barely wanted to see any of the proof we brought! 2 hours later and we got a status update that our card is in production.
So exciting!!!!

I woke up this morning find an email from uscis stating my I-129f was approved and shortly I should recieve my noa2 in the mail.. I filed late july.... wow!!! I'm soooo excited so does this mean my interview is soon?

there is a BIG difference between Australia and Nigeria..I mean HUGE difference. Nigeria has just about the highest incidence of fraud, if not THE highest. Plus the petitioner is female and far beyond child bearing years, a big part of the culture in Nigeria...really you are comparing apples to oranges.

With that age difference, in one of the highest fraud countries, the chances are just about zero of getting a K-1. There is no need for anyone to sugar coat the fact that it won't happen. Even if you get married and file for cr-1 you will still have a very HARD uphill battle. Good luck.

My husband was interviewed on July 17th 2013 and placed in AP.
CO told us it will take about a month.
In the meanwhile his case was updated about 2-3x's and FINALLY it says ISSUED!
(As I was returning to NY last week, I made Dua for all my Bro's & Sis going thru this painful wait...

Hey guys. Received notice of NOA1 today. I know that is a small step but now I have a case number and I feel like finally something is happening. Now it is back for the loooooooong wait for NOA2......

I'm kind of freaking out... just got this notice, what does this mean??
On August 27, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.


For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I just got a text/email abot my status notifaction on I129 f K1 visa. I checked and to my surprise it was APPROVED!!!! whoo hoo!!! I am in shock but in a good way has this happened to any one else?
p.s I did NOT expedite my service either!

It was a surprise for me yesterday when my fiancé told me he got the letter and we got the approval! 35 days?! I couldn`t believe! For a second I thought that maybe because it was the second time that we send the form. The first time they received our file on 24th of December 2012 and denied us on the end of may 2013. Then in july we`ve send again!
