I opened this July Filers and my journey has ended here and I am much relaxed now nothing to worry about………..

( in my oath I saw many people , some were 15 yrs, 20yrs and 30yrs they stayed in USA and now they became citizen that really shocking for me a lot )

I am Finally done with this immigration and now a US Citizen, I had a oath today at 11.00am there were 45 people there , after the oath there were things to do

Updated my Social Security Office ( Done )

Update my Driver License ( Done )

Applied for my passport getting in few weeks ( Done )

Now i can change my color to red ...... for all of you guys I pray for you that every one reach's this journey soon (i know how stressfull it is ) .... best of luck to every one and God bless... :yes: :thumbs: :dance:

Past sixty day mark since been in-line for interview. New York has stalled once again. I wonder if I can try my luck with a service request or get to a tier 2 officer who can give me information that I don't already know.

I had my interview interview yesterday October 8th, 2012. I was approved and lady asked me if I wanted to take the Oath same day. I said yes. So both was done same day. That is what I expected. There was no formal ceremony as there was only about 40 people.We just had to take Oath.I am now US Citizen.

Congratulation Brucer20099 you made it, its great for one of us to finish , which gives us a big relief that we all are soon going to reach the finish line , God Bless and enjoy....

Thanks LA80 we are almost there one last push then we are there, then no more worries ....

we all Flying tiger, LA80 and me have in this month...., one thing i am happy that all the stress on my shoulder is finished....Havala, LA80 best of luck on your Oath....

After 3 months of inactivity since fingerprinting, I ask my local senator office to help inquire about my status. Well long and behold, USCIS cannot located my "A" file (I assume this is my alien file), and regulations require them to request for this file 3 times. As of today, they are on their third attempt and was told that I will have my interview early December.

I think you need to make a infopass to your local office , once you do that they will open your file.....hope that help

Congratulations Hoshot! Am so glad for you. Finally, its almost over for you. One more step and you are done. I am sorry for the belated wishes as I have been without power for more than a week due to Sandy. Things are getting back to normal in NY but it will take another 2-3 weeks. Even I received a yellow letter a few days ago, stating that I should bring the marked documents for my interview. Seems like New York is moving and I should hear from them any time sooner.

Thanks bro , i am relaxed also now, because i saw her putting the approval stamp on the papers, i am almost there, its good sign that you got the yellow paper , i hope soon you will get the letter in the mail, so that mean your file is touched hopefully soon ..... and one more thing i hope your family is ok in NY, and thing get back to normal....

I am worried I do not have any kind of ticket. I might get stuck with something else, it depends on the interviewer. My record is clean though and I am confident.. Still tension comes easily.

you need to relax , i know how it feel till you get the interview , once you have done it all the pressure will be off just like me, now i don't care for any stress since she approved and gave the oath , so you know that you are there....i would like to suggest just to relax and don't panic , it wont help you...keep your chin up.... :dance: :thumbs:

Hotshot what time you had the interview? I was wondering if anybody here had interview and oath same day. My interview is very early in the morning. I wish I could take oath also same day. That way I do not have to make two trips in Atlanta.

well Brucer20099 i had my interview at 8.00am sharp , there were 3 of us for interview , when the first women went she had the tough looking guy , i said to my self i hope i don't get him, he looks rigid..loool but i was lucky a lady came out and called my name and the best thing i was don in 12 min, and she gave me the oath date letter....which was great ,this indicated that i was approved and she stamped approve om my N-400....i was relaxed :rofl: :thumbs:

I am applying for citizenship in November mid of 2012, what would be the timeline, seeing that -

a) Elections will end by the time I will file

b) End of year and holidays too

c) Not sure what was last year statistics

I think even though I am out of country for few weeks I can still file from there.

i think it will take at least 5 months or less and depends on your local immgration office ,hope this help ...

i had a speeding ticket last year in august i was driving 40 in a 30 zone , he gave me a ticket of not wear the seat belt and speed fine the total was 85 dollars which i paid and had a proof, good thing was that i keep imp doc in my folder, the day i got the ticket i did a research on line and it said that they may ask for the payment of the ticket for N-400 so i had the proof without delay.....

thanks MamaSue don't worry i went blank on my Social Security no.... lool u will be fine, its one one day then relaxed, u will not believe it my hands went cold before going in then i was ok , my wife holded my hand saying y are u going cold till i went inn.......but i had a good lady..she was stiff in beginning then she nice and easy, now that done it feel funny that over...

Finally had my interview, was a bit nervous that my hand got cold loool, any way , i was greeted by this nice lady, she took the oath , then we went straight to the application form , she asked my address, social security no .(which i forgot lol) mobile no, and asked me the traffic ticket copy of payment as well as the ticket, she made a copy of it,she asked me when i got married then she said to read that Columbus is in October, then she said write the same question , which was easy , coming to question , she asked me we select the Senator for how many year , what did the declaration of independence do ( freedom from great Britain ) , then she said name the part of the government i said president ( i laughed in the middle that was easy), how many judges are there , how many amendment the Constitution has. after that she printed the papers and added the paper to my fat file, they have every thing, and then she took out from the drawer the stamp , and stamped my papers APPROVED and instead of giving me the N-652 that i passed , she said you are approved and here is your Oath letter it stated that i have a Oath on 29 Nov 2012, which was great and a big relief , so i am ready for the oath on 29 nov 2012 :dance: :thumbs:

i hope that people waiting for there interview get them soon best of luck to every on ....
