hello fellow visa journey's people I have a question here I have a friend who will be traveling from south america and going to Asian country

it happens that all my friend's transit pass by the USA territory I knew my friend needs visa in order for her to pass by the USA airports

what type of visa will she needs?

My wife received her notification she has application for permanent residency has been approved and her card should arrive within three weeks. We also applied for EAD and permission to travel abroad. Being that she is receiving her green card, does this mean that all of these facets have been approved as well or do we wait for another notification / card to receive? Is the green card an all-in-one deal? Thanks for any advice.

Hi,

You don't need anymore the EAD and AP if you have the GC but I believe the GC ( its still conditional for 2 yrs) and you have to apply after 2 yrs for LPR

after we filed the pertinent ROC docs, what if, we will not get the green card after expiration of the extension letter.

Sounds like you are a victim of the USCIS customer dis-service customer hotline. You can call again, and ask to speak to a Tier 2 Immigration Service Officer (ISO), try to get a straight answer. If that is unsuccessful, make an Infopass appointment and try to sort it out.

Hi Folks in visa journey, Just need help, I got my GC for 6 months after I filed my ROC

but I am just wondering why my son's GC has not yet processed I

filed it Feb, 2015 ( 3 months) before expiration date and been 9 months

now since I filed it, I called USCIS and they said will arrived last week

and I called them back again the process will be 9 to 12 months and it's not

done yet? why did they tell me different versions?

Nope it won't affect I was just there for a vacation as long as you won't exceed 6 months ( if you are a LPR)

enjoy your vacay and be sure that your GC is not yet expired going there but if you have the extension

it depends on who are you filing for,

have you filed a petition for a spouse of a LPR? then yes of course it will change once you become a USC, your spouse becomes an immediate relative and no waiting for the visa bulletin

so his GC will be expiring next year 2015 and I am asking help has anyone here has knowledge
