    ok so heres what i remember about yesterday and our interview

    we got there right on time checked in with our appointment letter ,

    then went in a different area of the building to our right, when received a ticket with a letter and number and waited for it to be called.

    A nice american lady called our Letter and number D20 to counter number 6

    she asked for my appointment letter and ticket and my passport then said they will call your name from that door when they are ready to interview you , she took the letter and we sat down, about 20 mins later we got called ..he was a bigger large white guy and looked scarey at first (but i think there trained to look mean ) he said this way thanks so we followed him down the corridor

    he then went into his office and said don't said down we are going to swear you, To tell the truth and nothing but the truth. We said I DO

    he then said sit down and relax. He first asked us

    *Where did you guys meet? - our answer Xbox live

    Then he chit chatted about how he used to play nhl on Xbox live and it was funny because that's is one of my husband favorite games.

    * Confirmed my full name

    * confirmed my address

    *Confirmed my mum and dads names.

    *went through the questions about prostitution , drugs , political , KKK. - answered all NO

    * asked us why we waited so long to file - we explained why

    * he told us about how we were just under the 2 years and we would receive a 2 year conditional green card.

    *explained to remove conditions 3 months before the 2 year mark - we had to sign a paper to say he let us know.

    * He said he believes in our marriage that we have been married after 2 years and are there. so we are approved smile.png

    * while the interview was going on he told us stories about how hes been to Australia and how there are many women there lol he used to be in the military

    These are all the questions he asked he was a very laid back nice man that made jokes through the hole interview very nice man

    we were very luck to have such a nice IO In Detroit

    he then said congrats and sent us out , we said thank you!

    after we left the building our case status updated to card in production .

    I think he was very easy on us because we had been married for almost 2 years already and had went through the K1 visa process so he believed that our relationship was Genuine

    he said well have the Green card in 7-10 days

  8. Experts need your opinion ...

    I had my interview yesterday at Detroit office .

    Interview was at 10:30 am. We were there by 10 am. IO called us at 11:30 am. She said us to stand and take oath. I was the beneficiary.

    She asked our passports, DL and LPR

    She asked my I-130 approval notice.

    She then asked me my I-94 and my port of entry and If I had any interview with Immigration officer . I said Yes ..

    Then she told me that our file looks good ... but didnt receive other file . I.e I-130 file .. and .she said she will request file today and depending on the VISA availability I will get my Green card. So, it might take 2 to 3 months for me to get GC .

    She then explained .. Since my husband is LPR .. I might get a 10 yr GC. I dont know .. how far this is correct . ranting33va.gif

    I dont know what to do now . Should I contact some attorney or wait for few days .

    I am so disappointed.

    P.S: My I-130 was approved on Ooct 17th.

    our interview is in Detroit next week the 5th November,

    im hoping they have everything of ours there.

    Dont be disappointed sounds like u got approved they just have to wait for the i130

    the hard part is all over until you remove conditions
