i feel so lucky to have gotten my green card after 3 months, now i am working and going to college. got my ged in December 2013. We are finally heading in the right direction

Wow i see alot of people are just getting there Green cards, I recieved mine in November 2013. I guess i was just lucky.

I got my GED in December now have a job and signed up for college in the spring . Things are finally coming together

Got my last score for my GED . PASSED I AM OFFICIALLY GRADUATED !!

I just got a call from my old landlord and she said I had mail since November 8th and it was an interview waiver !!! YAY im happy GOOD lUCK EVERYONEE!!

did my first test today , writing .. i think i passed.

i cant take classes cause i dont have the time .

after this year the test is more expensive,harder and longer.. and they are changing it all to the computer.

if i fail one i basically fail them all !! its a gamble

Excellent question Frannyglass! I was wondering that myself. Like Pamala said, on the EAD it will be the one you took at the biometrics appt. I'm not so certain about the green card. Can someone confirm this? I'm going to be a little disappointed if they don't use the photo I sent because I got all dolled up for that one and I was not prepared to take a photo on the day of my biometrics appointment.

they used the biometrics picture for the ead and green card. Same picture

got my SSN today havent got card yet. Just got a print out .

DId GED orientation today too just in time to use my SSN

and my 1st annniversary is a week from tomorrow

if you married a us citizen you apply citizenship after 3 years of permanent residency

you can apply for new green card 3 months before expiry

Any advice before the interview? Getting some anxious.

just be your self , dont stress.

have all papers prepared , get there on time. Answer the questions clearly .

Hi everyone had my interview today. It went well but was to it will be reviewed and a decision will be made. If not approved I will be notified. How long after your interview did u get your decision

we got approved on the spot too.

and uscis status changed straight away

Almost 3 weeks and no SSN , will probably go to the office tomorrow and check on it .

And hopefully they can give me my number so i can use it

least it was nothing bad ..

Hey All,

I have a quick question. I have my interview coming up on Monday. Today I received a notice in my mailbox saying that USPS delivered a package from USCIS. I didn't get the package because I was at work. Any idea what they could be sending me?

FYI: I already received my EAD/AP and my I-30 is still in "Initial Review" online. Also, I absolutely have to sign for the package they sent, which tells me it's some legal document that they want to ensure I receive.

Sounds weird because it's not your green card or ead . Has your uscis case status updated ?

Still waiting on my SSN there taking there time , this Friday will be 3 weeks since i applied
