I'm dying to leave as well.... Such a stressful life here in the state, where we are from in DR, we have it all, it's beautiful and no stress no stress -

It's pretty hard to start in another state without already having a job, it also takes money for this and we really dont want to go on any adventures of that sort unless it's to DR. I love it there and thank god we are from the same place... we have an infrastructure there and promised ourselves to try NY before we left... i look at it as at least he's got his papers and we can travel to the states together when we need to, but honestly I'm over the US policies and procedures....

Still no SS card. Currently on hold with SS for over 10 minutes. Feeling like i'm back at NVC, waiting & waiting. You gotta just laugh it off I swear. What else can you do? But seriously, we need that asap!!

Hello, just want to throw this out there. My wife took 1.25 x 1.50 size photos to medical. I told her to take 2x2 but she had already got them. She told me that there were people there with 2x2 and those were ok also. So, either size is fine.

went to a lawyer in DR and she is going to type a letter so we can take to the consul to see if they can reopen our case because she was very disrespectful to me and my husband to see if they reopen our case before its sent back to vermont office it takes about a month to see if it will be approved if not have to wait for it to be sent back to vermont and then make an appeal either way i cant stand with my arm crossed because the section that she denied us on my husband will be in admissable ...

He just got the call to go pick up his passport and POE package since we opted for that option as it seemed quicker:) 3rd business day later, he are both super happy....

Will the IRS give me my parent's transcripts if I go to their office? Probably not right? Anyone know?

Yes, The interview area for what seemed to be for K visas and IR/CR1 visas were in enclosed areas from the rest of the public but the only thing seperating you from the interview taking place next to you is a thin half wall coming from the top. You see the Consul sitting down a bit higher than you with a plastic/glass window between you. They are speaking through a speaker system to you like if you were in a bank here in the states.
