Good Afternoon...you had give some information to a VJ member regarding the difficulty that Nigerians have getting approved for the visa. Some of the "red flags" that you mentioned are making me a bit nervous (ie: being white, getting married on first visit, previous marriage etc.) Well, I am all of the above, but we do share the same religion and I am only 7 years older than he.

Yes, our process has been moving rather quickly. Faster than we had ever anticipated hence why we are not completely prepared with all documents for DS-230. We were not expecting approval for I-130 until end of September so we thougt we would have had more time. I have sent in my I-864 and paid my DS-230 fee.
