Exact situation here!! Had the interview this afternoon and was handed a letter by our nice io saying 30 day review. Few minutes after, I received an electronic notification saying its ON CARD PRODUCTION status.i know its gonna change stat again,like what happened with my ead production.mailed out but then jumped to production then mailed out. But hopefully card production=approved case.

Im wonderin though,say we didnt pass the interview, do we get a denied letter right away? Go to stokes (?) Interview? And will still get further review notice?

Uscis la was like 2hrs delayed.interview was at 1230 but were,called at 215. Interview was short.like 10-20 mins. Asked personal questions and asked to provide her copies of important documents.. Lady was a nice io though. She asked us to give her 5 pictures, and evidences. Thats my issue though. If we gave her substantial docs. We gave ladwp bill, vonage phone bill, wells fargo checking statement. In the end, she took my I94 and gave me a letter saying they need to 30 days to review further. Is that ok? Coz im thinking, if there was a problem, she would have denied us right away. Or at least have another but separate interview.

interview was scheduled for next month on the 21st of sept in downtown La. just wonderin if theres anybody here who can share some tips about that local office? any particular IO that i should watch out for? thanks!!!

after reading lots of stories here about marriage interviews, i came across this valid interview but was mistakenly thought to be 'fraud. so everything basically depends on the documents and the actual 'conversation'?? do they actually arrest you right there and then if they find out its a fraud? just wonderin the typical scenario when an IO suspects the couple to be fraud. thanks

just wondering how long should i wait before i get the EAD. had my biometrics last july 12.

just waiting for my biometrics appt next month and would like to read some experiences that you guys had during your interview in LA..im thinking i might have mine in LA downtown.

submitted pack june 1, was received on the 7th, i received the NOA on the 13th and just got the biometrics appointment last saturday, june 25, schedule of appoitment is for next month july 12..

i dont know if i can do the biometrics sooner that the specified date or i should strictly follow the given time and hour.

Uhmmm I think you guys have k1 visas? Coz,i think im the only who here getting petitioned througjh marriage with a usc..i sent my packe june 1, msc received them last june 7. I received noticesl dated june 13 but until now havent received any biometrics letter yet. Im kinda, worried thinking something might have gone,wrong..

It's good to gather information on these sites and know what to expect but try not to get too stressed out by other peoples stories. Reality is you do not know what kind of situation people are in, even if they tell you

The link "Mrs O" posted to consulate reviews is good. Try to read them and get an overview of what to expect But don't take them too literally. Remember 2 people describing the same situation may have very different things to say. I read the reviews of the London embassy and had read that one of the officers was rude and unhelpful. When a lady of that description called me up, I expected the worst. Well, she was lovely and although the reviews mostly had bad things to say about her, I had no reason to be nervous.

So read some reviews, get prepared and relax. Remember this system is to protect people from fraud so it is not there to catch out any real marriage.
