Rainbow Medallion got a reaction from Heartwarming in Where's the Happiness???
Hehehe on a side note my son just asked me "do babies in the mom's stomach come from brown eggs or white eggs or does is depend on if you are brown or if you are white"? LOL Then he asked me "or is is it like granpa said they come from swallowing watermelon seeds, so if you swallow two seeds or three seeds does that mean twins and triplets"? That made me laugh too! Life is full of blessings! We just neglect or tend to overlook them sometimes!

Due to the heavy volume of petitions there is no way to accurately estimate the time each of us will have to wait to receive our NOA2. This is because the individuals here on VJ only make up a small percentage of the actual load of cases iled at each service center. Therefore, all of us who are still waiting and see others who filed after us are quite upset. It is very disheartening to see this taking place. Also, calling NCSC is useless for the most part. I would just advise you to wait until you reach the 5 month mark and then file a service request on your case or even a congress inquiry. This is what the NCSC avised me to do on my case. I pray niether of us have to hit that 5 month mark.

It's quite puzzling as we've seen some VJ'ers approved less than 30 days and they had their NOA1 in July and August. Just makes you wonder how petitions are being processed. Can anyone tell me what does the priority date mean for I-130 petitions (USC petitioning for their spouse)?
Best wishes to all and hope for a speedy NOA2. Things happen when you least expect it.

Progress my ####. Following the timelines, i was supposed to be approved early November, which seemed reasonable to me. Now it is early January 2012!!! So as for progress... I don't see it?! Why not hiring new people and creating new jobs? Eh whatever.

I can't stress enough how huge a difference it is, when the petitioner (me) is there during the interview. It starts even before you get inside. When we got to the embassy about 5:45 there were maybe 150 or so people ahead of us. Said to myself and my fiancée, we are going to be here all day. Then about 10 minutes later the officials started walking through the lines outside and picked out all of the American people that were there with their fiancées and moved us all to the head of the line. So COOL! They had us outside at the booth, show appointment letters and all the required documents. They also were very appreciative of the fact that we had all our documents organized, filled out, and ready to go.
We got inside at about 6:30 and turned in the DS156's, DS157, Visa receipt and got our number. Ten minutes later they called our number and we go to a window for fingerprinting. Another ten minutes go to another window and turn in the NBI, birth certificate, centomar, and passport. The lady then at the window swore in my fiancée, then asked how we met, showed her a couple photos of us together before the petition was filed and then she asked for my I-134 and tax returns. About an hour later, go to another window and again asked “how did we meet”. I actually did most of the talking this time. It was with a very nice American lady and it lasted about 3 minutes. She looked at all of the required documents one more time, did not ask for any other supporting documents or even evidence of an ongoing relationship. Nothing else and then those magic words. “Visa approved”. “Go to window 72 and make arrangements to receive you Visa”. Left the embassy at 9:00. Total time 2 hours 30 minutes! WOW!
Thanks everyone from VJ for making this a walk in the park, and again to all of you about to do this, if you possibly can, be there during the interview with your fiancée. Like the saying goes…. JUST DO IT! It’s well worth it! Best to everyone.
So now my next question is… How do I track her Visa for pick up. I wanna go home and I’m not leaving without her. LOL !!!! Again thanks everyone…..

Fast and visa do not go together, you and your boyfriend will need to read posts here on VJ and do your homework and then prepare yourselves to proceed with weather a fiance visa or spousal visa, depending on what you ultimately decide to do.
Either way, slow down and take the time to prepare yourselves well. Good luck!

I have a big issue with Muslims invading our country. I'm in NY and they have taken over the dollar store industry. They are all now Arab owned. Them and the Chinese.
