I am in the same situation too! I called yesterday night and was told that they are unable to schedule the Oct interview and are waiting for Nov interview to be scheduled on 2nd week of Oct. I don't receive any email that my case is completed and I am still able to log in to the invoice payment portal.

When the operators say they only schedule during the second week of each month, it's a LIE. If you want proof, look at my own signature; I was scheduled during the FOURTH week! And I've seen many others scheduled throughout the month. When I was actually waiting for my own CC, I was looking at when Canadians were getting their interview dates scheduled, and the majority got their interview date scheduled in any week except the second!! So, please, whatever you do, do not listen to those darn operators, they're simply reading from a script.

I just talked to the operator that my RFE is on file but i have to wait for the interview scheduling.

Yes, you need to wait for the RFE, as it will have another barcode page which you will need to send back with the requested document.

Hi, I called nvc earlier, and I ask about the update of our case, they said they received our ds 230 the other day and it seems theres no problem in it. Is this mean it got approved and theres no rfe in the future??? And we had an rfe(aos) last week, we already send it thru usps and it got there sept 14th, but the operator says they did not find it and i have to wait another 20 days??? Is this real? hope not ^^

We got this after sending both our packets too. Most likely means that your AOS was reviewed and found to be complete but they think they are still waiting for the DS-230 because it has not been reviewed yet.

You should talk to an operator to confirm this.

I just called the NVC and the operator said they already reviewed my AOS and still waiting for the IV. Looks like they take about 3 business days to review an AOS and IV, I hope I can hear something good about my IV tomorrow!

As I know, I just sent my AOS and IV packets last week. Is this a RFE? Do I need to call NVC and check it out? Or this is a normal email response for IV packet and I can ignore it? Thanks!

It is K1 petition. Could not find enough info here about it. Some says that we need to call NVC to get a case number, and some says that we need to way. Anyone out there have gone through this? What comes after NOA2? Should we just wait for more paper to be sent to us or we should call to get a case number??

I don't think they really have that free time to track down the IP address! I actually used my wife's email address to send the DS-3032 and was accepted. My wife doesn't know much about U.S. immigrant and wants me to take care all these for her!

I don't understand why the NVC want the proof of a relationship to the co-sponsor! As I know, the requirement to be a sponsor is just to be a LPR or U.S. citizen. Have you received the RFE in mail? Maybe you take a look later what exactly they want!

Are you using a co-sponsor other than a support from your spouse? Who is the co-sponsor?

What packet 3? The petitioner will receive the NOA2 in mail soon! If the beneficiary is currently resides in oversea, then the case will be forwarded to NVC for more steps.

Hi everyone, I just paid AOS fee online for my parents and I have question about the form DS 3032. Can I email NVC DS 3032 form or my parents have to email to them because my parents don't know about computer stuffs so they don't know how to email. If I can use my email or create for my parents email , use their email to send to NVC, is it ok? ...If not I have to wait my parents sign the form and send back to me , it'd take a long time like a month, anyone has experience about this form please help me, thank a lot.

You can create a free email for your parents and send the DS-3032 from that email address! Of course, you have to call the NVC 1st! Give them your parents and your email address before you send out the DS-3032 email!

I have signed part-1 but forget to put date....so may be thats why they want ds-230 part 1?

Maybe you just wait for the RFE in mail, then you send the DS-230 again!

They only lost your DS-230 form? How about other supporting documents? Especially the original documents!

They couldn't communicate with the CO but good thing the CO was this young Asian American guy so he was easily able to switch to Mandarin.

Since he is able to communicate with them in Mandarin, why they still got denied?

I heard that this young Asian CO is much more polite than other CO(s) in the embassy!

I'm not entirely sure as all of them needed a Chinese translator but I could make out one had a passport that was almost expiring.

They need a Chinese translator because they couldn't communicate with the CO or they don't have the common language with their fiance/spouse?

Hi everyone!

We got approved today and it was the single most anti-climatic experience ever! Was last to be interviewed, saw everyone prior to me get denied *VERY scary!* The interview lasted literally like 5 minutes, the later half of which the CO spent typing away on the computer.

Here are the questions I got asked incase anyone wants them!

1. What is your fiance's name?

2. When was he born?

3. What is his mother's name?

4. Where does he work now? (He doesn't at the moment and they knew that since we submitted the affidavit of support, so I think he was testing me)

5. How many times have you visited the US?

6. How many times have you visited the US to visit his family?

7. Have you met his family?

8. How many times have we met in person?

9. Where in the US does he live?

10. What is it like in that part of the US? (My fiance lives in Ft. Lauderdale)

11. How long have you been together?

12. Why did you wait so long before deciding to get married? (We have been in this LDR thing for 6.5 years)

That was when he stopped asking questions and started typing away at his computer. HE DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT THE MOUNTAIN OF EVIDENCE I BROUGHT ALONG HAHAHAHA! I'm almost upset that I didn't get to use all those explanations I've worked up in my mind In fact, he didn't even TOUCH it (When I say mountain, I mean mountain haha! It was like 5 inches thick of evidence in that sense, I basically frontloaded them... if they had gone through the documents )

Then he turned to me and was like, "Oh btw, your visa is approved!"

Quite a few of us currently (last week) going through this stage of NVC have had this issue. The payment portal shows the IV bill as "not paid", but you cannot select it for payment, right? We had to wait till NVC sent us the IV bill via email before we were able to pay. Took about 3 days between the IV bill showing up and receiving the email. Interestingly enough, we also received our IV package coversheet almost immediately after paying the fee (before payment was done being processed).

Not sure if it's a glitch in the system or if they are changing the way they do things at NVC. Do post your experience after you make payment!

Just like you said, I was able to select the IV bill to pay after I received the IV email from NVC this afternoon!

Also, the document cover sheet is available now even the payment still in process!

Anyway, I will wait for the payment status changes to "paid" before I send out the IV package!
