I believe you have to use the case number that comes with the biometric appointment letter.

S, they will assign another case number than the one that they wrote on my check? Will the NOA1 have case number too? Thanks.

My check was cashed yesterday. I can see the WAC # from the check image but I can't see anything from USCIS website, it shows:

"our case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283."

Do you guys have the same thing?

I believe K-1 visa is just a single entry to United States. You need to apply for AOS and advance parole if you need to travel out of United States.

If your passport was stamped with I-551, then you can go to Social Security Office to apply your SSN. If not, you can wait until your real card in the mail.

USCIS doesn't send you any SSN card.

My AOS interview was approved last Wednesday! I am so relieved and happy!

But how do I obtain a SSN? Will they mail it to me together with the green card?

These people here are correct! Definitely do NOT enter United States with non-immigrant visa with an immigrant intention.

CR-1 is the right path and the expedited for military spouse only takes a few months.

Answer 1: If you have the new birth certificate with English, you don't need another English translation.

Answer 2: Once you entered United States with K-1 visa, you will have 90 days to get married (meaning you both will need to register with the court and have the marriage certificate)

Answer 3: I never heard that your government will fine you for not get married in Malaysia.

Answer 4: How do you qualify for K-1 visa if you both never met in person within last 2 years? Has your I-129F approved yet?

I believe you have the right one! It took us more than a month to receive that short paragraph letter and it was accepted by the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

NVC always ask for original/certified docs including the good conduct letter too. NVC will attach an IV cover page soon after received your IV fee. I would probably wait for all the original docs ready in hand before I send that out.

She not have this intent, when she crossed the border. As SHE said, she met a guy after hitting the POE.

So, she not have this intent, at all. Sorry. You said it once, twice even - but I pray you understand she not have this intent. No Fraud at all if she stays after marriage and an Adjustment of Status casefile is filed. She must stay, however, till the greencard is in hand.

She didn't have any intention to get married on her 1st entry but she were talking about to return to her country later and return to US again with visitor visa in order to get married!

As I said before, it is fraud to use a non-immigrant visa to enter US with an intention to get married and stay permanently.

If you have to return to your country, your future husband (US citizen) can apply a K-1, fiancée visa for you and get married in US. Then, you can start the AOS process.

No, you CANNOT leave the US and come back after you get married here. You will need to apply and wait for a spouse visa in your country.

Yes, you can get married in US and file for an Adjustment of Status but you will need to prove that you didn't have any intention to stay in US when you entered on B1 visa.
