    C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: Your vawa case has been approved actualy what was transeffered was you i-485 so that they can schedule you for an interview with your local USCIS you will receive approval notice in a few days or so.

    thank you hon, hopefully i will get the approval notice soon, but the weird thing is they did not change my status online, is still RFE response review

    Loveme, I can totally understand how you're feeling. I submitted my RFE earlier this month and the waiting period is indeed hard. Especially right now you know that no one would be looking at your case :whistle::whistle:

    What are your timelines? When did you apply for a VAWA and then the RFE?

    i submit my RFE in august, and i still dont have news, just the transfer notice

    Ufa! Got a letter today with the new date jan 30! Here is hoping they don't cancel this time...

    I got two transfer notices...one that transferred my files from Vermont to NBC for faster processing and then another one that said they transferred to the USCIS local office.

    hi Carla. i just got the letter transfer notice, i have some situation, yesterday i got in the mail trasfer notice from Vermont to NBC for speed processing, did u get the approval before the transfer notice, because i didnt and on USCIS web i dont have any update

    Hi everyone ... I have to tell you that I am planing to apply for WORK PERMIT .. I 360 march 25 2011 just I 797 and one touch nothing else no prima facie.. PLease help me in this process no lawyer but I really Need to work..

    1- I 765 how can I get fee waiver

    2- do I need to apply for I 485 adjust status

    Please help me .. Thanks again .. Happy holidays

    from my experience i know that you need to have I-485 pending to apply for work permit

    reading this makes me feel so at ease, thanks for your kind words and info. I checked about the divorce and it will cost $420 , i wish i had the money to do it now, but it's so difficult when you're not working and can hardly feed yourself. I checked with legal aid but they're only taking cases with restraining order against the spouse. I don't have a restraining order against him. Do you know of any other agencies i could check with that could help me file it and help with the cost? ....... God will see us through...I keep Praying for us all..

    its free for those people without income, go at your clerk house and ask, my best friend she had same situation and she did not pay the fee, just $30

    thank u soo much, lets pray together....my RFE it was for things that i submit allready like joined accounts, utilities bills, insurance together ( things that i submit with my file, but at same point they lost it) and to explain tha abused : verbal, possessive, izolated, social life, and my life after the abused

    Seems we applied right about the same time. Mine has been 16 months as well and I am still waiting for a decision. Returned an RFE in August and hoping to get a decision soon. Though I heard VAWA process usually averages out to 18 months, I hoping that it comes sooner and that the time spent in absolute uncertainty will be worth it.

    yes , my attorney told me that the VAWA process is up to 18 months, we have 2 months left....let me know if you have news...we will have news soon....lets pray together...

    To those ladies who are still married, how do you ensure that your GC come in your maiden name instead of married name? When i signed the VAWA i did it in my married name..Does that mean that ultimately that's the name im gonna have to stick to since i already started the process with it?

    you need to send your devorce paper, i was married when i applied for vawa and i sent to VSC my divorce papers, anyway when you go at interview you need to show the divorce...

    I just called cus service to see if they would tell me which office has my case bcaz my email doesnt say but nope they wount tell me anything has anyone received email case transfer but doesn't say to which office.HELP ...lol..

    i got the some email regarding my I-765, after 2 weeks i got the mail explain me where is been transfer and witch is the next step...dont worry...wait for the letter

    Its hard sometimes I think about it and my stomach turns I'm still on edge but not so much I'm waiting for the i360 notice or email......we all will hold hands and dance around the Bon Fire....

    congratuuuuuuuuuuuuuulatttttttiiiiiiiionnnnnnnnnnnnn...so soo happy for you, i guess it will be my turn now, i have 16 months waiting to happen....again congrats....and all the best...u deserved it :dance:

    Should I tell my attorney that I'm doing this or just go ahead , I feel as if I'm cheating . But on the other hand if u want something u have to fight for it and I don't think theyre fighting for me....big city attorney I could have done this and not have received the stupid RFE.....

    Dee07 , dont be mad because of your attorney, i had 3 attorneys during one year, and they are all the same, i realize that they dont want to push because they dont want to lose the case, you should tell to your attorney that you want to do this, its just my opinion

    stay possitive and everything it will be allright, i know is hard , i am in the some shoes, sometimes this wait is make me crazy but thing at something else, try to be busy

    you dont talk to USCIS/I360vawa...

    you just leave a message about your case(inquire or update status)

    and in the next 3 days they will update or send you a mail about your inquire/case without call you back

    if that makes sense......

    NO, THEY ALWAYS CALL BACK AFTER 48 HR, AFTER YOU LEFT A MESSAGE THEY CALL YOU BACK, IN MY CASE ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT
