Okay guys I got my Rfe in the mail yesterday....I week later....I forgot to check yes or no....on the form for the criminal history section......so they want my yes or no and my signature.....Heading to the post office now.....Glory be to God...

WOOHOO!!!!!!!! (Yes, that WAS meant as a shout). Just got off the phone with the NVC. Case complete for both my husband and daughter, as of February 12, 2013. They are in line for an interview date. Yay! Yay! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been busy prepping for tomorrow. Ribeye's thawed..check. Maraschino cherries dipped in chocolate..check. Caramel flan cooked and chilling..check. Champagne chilled, strawberries ready for their chocolate bath, potatoes washed and ready for baking, garlic bread waiting for me to slather it up with butter and sesame seeds and then we will share our first Valentine's Day dinner together just the 3 of us!

God often causes delays in our lives that we cannot understand. Sometimes it seems our obedience is not getting rewarded. Jesus said He learned obedience through the things He suffered. Imagine that, Jesus having to learn obedience. What does that say for you and me? Sometimes God's delays are simply because He wants more glory in the situation, more recognition, more Christ-likeness in you and me through greater patience and obedience. Faint not, for the promise may yet come.

You must not let the circumstances destroy you! Too many in the Kingdom are counting on you to come through this because of the calling on your life! Sometimes we need others around us to push us through the difficult times. If you find yourself in a difficult place today, see where you can sow some seed. Soon you will be reaping songs of joy.

I am not able to be in Nija for my husbands interview tomorrow morning so I am here trying to be calm for him so he will not be so nervous. Now how can I keep him calm when I am a nervous wreck. Lord have mercy. Much prayer much power.
