how long after you send you receive the noa 1?

Well, my application arrived at VSC on 6/19 and I still haven't received my NOA1 yet. Hopefully we both get ours soon...

Our check was cashed today (our application package arrived at VSC on 6/19). Hope the NOA1 will arrive soon...

Just got back from the post office... would someone please add me to the list? I sent our ROC package off to VSC today!! (Let the excitement and nervousness begin.) Thanks!

I'm a Feb Filer too... filed on Feb 6 and received my NOA1's dated Feb 8. I hope this process goes smoothly for us all!

Hi everyone! I am Feb Filer too. I received my NOA1's for all three applications (I-485, I-765, I-131) and my biometrics appointment letter yesterday. I did a walk-in for my biometrics today, and had no problems - yay! Good luck everyone!

after a month of waiting due to Russian Holidays and what not my babies Visa is officially in hand Thank you guys for all your love and support through these last 9 months its been hell waiting for it and grinding it out and I couldnt have done it with out all of you. Thanks!!! My baby is coming home sooon.

As previously posted, the doctor is male but when I had my exam a few weeks ago a female nurse was present in the room.

It took us nearly 3 weeks for VSC to send our approved petition to NVC. Once it finally arrived, NVC was able to give me the case number the next day. For some people it takes a few days for the petition to get to NVC, for other people it takes weeks - no rhyme or reason. Hopefully yours will arrive soon... good luck!

Hello Family!

January 19th Tolga had his interview and he was APPROVED!!! He received his visa this morning and will be here Thursday afternoon. I can't believe after 8 months he will finally be here. Feels like a dream. I can't wait to sit in our home, share dinner and enjoy our family. So content. Thanks for all your support my friends. It has been incredible. Next...the wedding

My fiance finally received the packet 3 from embassy. Now finally and hopefully on to the final phase, the interview before POE.

I picked up my visa this morning from DHL, and booked my flight. I'll be arriving in Austin, TX tomorrow afternoon!!!! I can't wait to be back in my baby's arms!!!!

well, they took your fingerprints at the interview right? and when you AOS you'll have to do biometrics again, so I wouldn't worry about it!

Thanks, that makes me feel better. Yes, they took my fingerprints at the interview. I'm going to try not to worry... I'll sure be happy when I have my visa in hand. Thanks for your response!

I know I'm probably being paranoid, but want to get an opinion on what happened today at my interview (my K1 visa was approved, by the way! )

Towards the end of the interview (which was at the consulate in Vancouver), the consular officer said, "I have a strange question to ask you." He turned his computer screen so I could see it, and there on the screen was my passport photo and beside it a photo of a woman who really looked like me - but it wasn't me. He asked, "Is this picture you?" I said it was not me, and asked who she was. He said there was a match on the facial recognition of my passport photo, and the match was that woman. I made a joke about she being my doppelganger and he didn't seem concerned at all about it. He then finished up going through the paperwork and said, "Congratulations - you have been approved for the visa."

So...is this facial recognition match something I need to be worried about? Right now I have playing in my head that they are going to revoke the approval and deny my visa because they think I'm that woman who has been red flagged for something, or that I will have problems when it comes to AOS.
