It was held in Austin, TX at the Delco Activity Center (North Austin). The largest naturalization ceremony in Austin's history! 1,166 applicants present, representing 97 countries!

Wow, I'm a US citizen! Finally my days with USCIS are OVER!!! Queue the happy dance!

I finally got my oath ceremony letter--the ceremony is scheduled for Monday, June 27. Would someone please update the tracker for me, thanks!

I remember 5 out of 6...not sure what the last one was

What are the two parties in the U.S. government?

What party does the current president belong to?

Who wrote the declaration of independence?

Those were the same questions I was asked, lol!!

I passed the interview!

It went pretty smoothly, and I was only with the immigration officer for about 15 minutes. She was cheerful and friendly yet professional, and apologized for being late (my appointment was scheduled for 10:35, and she called my name at 10:45). Several people ahead of me were late, she said, and so she got behind. I told her it was no problem, I wasn't in any hurry, and even though I got there super early (I didn't know what traffic would be like this morning on the I-35, sometimes it's gridlock) I brought a good book. She made me feel very relaxed.

When we got to her office, before I sat down, she asked me to take an oath that I would tell the truth. Once I did that, she asked for my green card and drivers license (those were the only pieces of ID she asked for). She then started going through my N-400 application, confirming the information that was in there. About half way through she stopped, and I did the reading and writing test--I passed. Then was the civics test. The questions she asked me were:

1. Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?

2. Name three of the 13 original states.

3. Name one state that borders Mexico.

4. What is the political party of the President now?

5. What are two major political parties in the US?

6. Who is the Commander in Chief of the military?

I got all of the answers correct. She then continued going through my application, and she said that she considers me approved. She said that in about a week another officer would double-check my application and my test results--if there was any concern, she would call me and ask me to come back in. She doesn't think there will be an issue. She also said in about a week I should receive by mail the location, date and time of the oath ceremony. She said it could be in Austin or San Antonio.

And that was it! She took me back downstairs, and said to be sure I say "hi" if I see her at the oath ceremony. Easy-peasy!

So yesterday I received an e-notification:

"On March 30, 2016, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxxx. We will mail you an interview notice."

I'll let y'all know once I get the interview letter. Things are moving along...

Finally! Only 8 months and 4 days after my NOA1. I'll take it!

I hear you. I'm still waiting, too. NOA date of June 20, transferred to CSC on Nov. 18, no 2nd biometrics notice, and when I called to put in a service request I was told I was still within the timeline because CSC was adjudicating cases from June 3. I hope we get approved before it's time to apply for citizenship...

I'm still without any news. I didn't bother to call also as I assume one day I will find something in the mailbox.

If this continuous, it would be faster to go for citizenship.

i got my 2nd bio appointment over a month after I was transfered. So hold tight you'll get yours soon....(hopefully) or maybe you get lucky and wont need to get ur fingerprints and picture taken again. Best of luck!

My case got transferred from VSC to CSC on 11/28/14... I got the notice in the mail stating that my case was transferred, but I haven't received any notice about a 2nd biometric appointment. Is there anyone else who got transferred but no 2nd bio appointment?
