are you on K1 or CR 1? if i may suggest, u better concentrate on dealing with USCIS and NVC first, thats the toughest part, once you got NVC case no. then you can do the medical, the result will be ready to picked up in 3 days, it depends on where you do ur medical exam.

we did everything by ourself, no attorney involved nor lawyer and thanks god our visa were approved today. For the translations, we submitted when we filed I-130 to the USCIS, just give the copies because all the original docs, will have to be submitted to the NVC.

me and my son, we're having our interview schedule on Nov 22, which is in 5 days now. The medical was good, gonna have to bring the result to the interview. My BC has 2 languages, indo n english so i don't need to translate it. Are you about going to file petition or you have filed it?

you can send her to jakarta for medical 1 week prior the interview date, the result of the medical usually will be done in 2-3 days, mine only took 2 days.

hello Jose! Oh yes, your wife has to travel to Jakarta to do the Medical. I didn't use either lawyer nor firm to help us in doing this this visa process, we just followed the instructions and copy the example forms on vj and asked vj members if we had any problems. Are you done dealing with NVC?
