Hi! I am sorry to hear about your situation. Just do whatever is asked from you and your husband. I am pretty sure there will be members from this site who will give you an advice on what else to do. Just keep on praying. Good Luck.

Hi maryburke! How was your interview? Was the visa for K1 or IR1/CR1? What were the questions asked from you? My hubby is A Filipino who is working there in Korea. His interview is next month, I want to find out how things were during your interview. Thank you so much.

The NBI clearance is good for a year. As long it is still valid until the time she is going for her interview then you are ok.

Congrats!!!

I have read something on the internet just now that when the green car was issued, it has the maiden name and below it was the married name. They filed for I-90. Just FYI. The best bet is for you to ask on her interview.
-
That is a good suggestion.

As far as I can remember, when I spoke to an agent at the NVC, I was told that the names on each documents should match....everything is consistent.
-
That is strange...if they are to follow whatever her name on the passport is, then, I guess they will use that name for the visa as well. Just a wild guess. So, her passport still has her maiden name then?
I mean, green card as well. but, I maybe wrong.

Hi there! Are you saying that your police certificate expires 3 months after it was issued?! If so, you need to submit a new police certificate to the NVC. It has to be current.

Hi manilatoseattle! Here is a link I have researched regarding TB/ suspected TB. This is the guideline they use:www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/pdf/tuberculosis-ti-2009.pdf I hope that helps and will allay your fears.

Hi! My hubby works is a Filipino as well who works in South Korea. I got our case number May 4,2011. I was just wondering what the first 3 letters of your NVC case number are. Mine states MNL. It just came across my mind that MNL stand for Manila, which eventually came to me that the case might be processed in the Philipines. Who did you call to find out where your fiance/hubby will be interviewed? I'd like to know. Thanks.

You can call the embassy on what do do about her passport: if you need to renew it or not. Is she traveling back to the Philippines soon? You said you have not applied a change of status? Did you mean AOS?
