  1. I just got yet another email.. same email... I'm not sure what is going on but it is weird. I keep opening them to see if one page says something different but nope its all the same. Last fee I paid updated the next morning to "Paid" but the IV status did not update yet. Maybe tomorrow... if not i guess it wil be tuesday since monday is a holiday :crying:

  2. I was on the phone with them as I was typing this... The operator was able to do something to fix this.. Im not sure what though. She said ok go try again... went there and BAM I was able to pay!

I have a new questions now.... So I paid the fee and right away I had the option to print the barcoded sheet. I printed it and it looks the same as the AOS barcode sheet except the verbage on it says "The enxt step in the immigration process is for each applicant to submit an Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration with supporting civil documents".

When I did the AOS fee I had to wait a few days before I could print the barcoded sheet. Since it is there and looks correct can I just send out my packet? Or is it necessary to wait for it to update as paid?

  3. Ok so I just got an email from NVC with 3 pages of attachments. But I still cannot pay the fee???? GRRRRR

    1st page says

    Dear Sir/Madam:

You have been registered as agent for the immigrant visa petition of XXXXXXXX. The Immigrant

Visa Processing Fee for each applicant indicated on the enclosed fee bill invoice(s) must be paid before petition

processing can continue. An invoice for each eligible applicant is enclosed.

    Payment Instructions:

    1. Do not send fee payments to the National Visa Center's Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility. This

will delay processing of the visa petition.

    2. Go to www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and follow the instructions displayed.

    Important Notes:

    1. If you did not receive a fee bill for any applicant who should be listed on this case, do not send a fee

payment for the applicant. Instead, contact the NVC.

    2. If a period of one year passes without communication to the NVC, all documents and fees expire and

must be resubmitted to resume the immigration process.

    3. If the applicant intends to adjust status with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS),

please contact the NVC before taking further action or making any payments.

    4. Children who pass 21 years of age after the petition was originally approved by the USCIS become

ineligible to accompany or join the applicant(s) immigrating to the United States under the original

petition. In some situations, the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA) may allow children to remain

eligible beyond 21 years of age. If you believe that the CSPA applies to this case, please send a

detailed explanation to the NVC. We will forward it to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate for a decision.

    Sincerely,

    Director

I received my NVC case number on 8/25/11. I have been trying to sign on to check for the AOS fee bill and continue to receive the SIF message. My wife emailed the DS-3032 agent form via email, but they said they were unable to add an agent at this time. The operator today told me that we would receive an email with instructions in 2-4 weeks. How come some of you were able to email the agent form and it was accepted?

Man NVC is pissing me off!! :bonk: This is what I wanna do to them.

Resend the email.. you probably sent it prematurely and they did not have your case fully entered. So when they opened the email they could not complete the request because it wasn't to that stage yet. I would resend it today!

  4. Hey! Go check your email soon! I just received an email stating I am officially the agent he has chosen and to pay the IV bill. I just tried to log in but the box is still gray. Im suyre later today we should be able to pay them.

For my AOS fee as soon as I received the email I logged in and it was able to be paid... strange that it is not the same with the IV fee.. but I'll keep trying!

  5. Agreed... I have confirmed that my DS-3032 was accepted back on 8/25/2011 and I am listed as the agent. Basically they are still invoicing the IV fees so they should show up anytime now. I called yesterday and they told me today at the latest as all process are completed and just waiting for the computer to finish generating the bill. ???

Now we place our lives in the hands of government computers :help:

  6. I emailed the Embassy in Tbilisi Georgia to clarify some information about our upcoming interview. I had seen mixed answers on whether I would be permitted to attend the interview with my hubby. Today I received a response saying that I am welcome to join him for the entire interview! Just be sure to bring my full passport to ensure admittance! What a relief! I was so hoping I would not have to send him alone!

Also the email stated that a few days before our actual interview my hubby will be asked to come to the embassy with all documents to be sure everything will go smoothly on interview date! They said upon approval our visa will be ready in 2 days!

  7. I am super paranoid about sending anythign original to the NVC with our IV packet. My question is...

Our marriage certificate is in a foreign language, however we did have it certified, translated, notarized, and appostilled. How can we get a certified copy in the USA that the NVC will accept. Will they accept just a copy of the marriage certificate (Including translation appostille ets)with each page notarized as being a "True and accurate copy of the original"? Or is this something that needs to be done at the courthouse. I know for county marriage license copies here we must go to courthouse but foreign certificate I think they will not be able to do anything with at courthouse???

    Any insight will be great!
