Hi Alex.. how're you doing? Yes I guess its good to have College to occupy yourself but a real challenge in terms of concentration. Well he's sent off the new petition and now organising our full history to approach his rep to see if we can get an expedite. I can only wait and hope. It'll be a relief for u to get the medical out of the way.. in the meantime, and another step closer ...

Exciting times!! You should hear quite soon wont you? I think they are pretty quick and wait time for an interview only about 2 weeks. We still haven't done another petition. He is lining up all our information sent so far, visits and supporting documents and all the evidence from our meeting in Canada just after Xmas. The plan is to take it to his Congressman and ask for help.

Still devastated but there seems to be no option. Putting together new petition.. we start again... pure hell !

Infopass supervisor advised that all staff had been transferred or fired. Revealed a room full of files in boxes and recommended we refile... after 12mths... devastated !!

Yes.. it was unbelievably great to be together again - I'm now back in NZ and we have to get this resolved quickly...

Appointment with Field Office booked for 7 Dec - hopefully some news ???

Infopass appt revealed our 2011 and 2012 petitions had been mixed up again (sigh). Yesterday they advised they had sorted them out and had resubmitted the 2012 - how long will it take? who knows?

Hi there,its stressful enough without having to start all over again. It was harsh of them to send yours back with just a couple of things missing - I would have thought they would send an RFE. We are sending in a new petition tomorrow I think. We've checked the new petition so many times so I hope its ok. Best of luck with your application this time..

Thanks for your comments regarding my K2 applicant daughter aging out and our predicament with the Denial without RFE. I appreciate your input which I have noted is always very clear, factual and sympathetic. I'm not sure where this leaves up but we will persevere. Thanks again, Andie

Hey glad I found your post... some of the responses from the Aussie mates have given links to stuff I have been looking for and haven't found. Think I have just confused myself with K1ers from other countries that have totally different guidelines and our story is a different to most K1ers anyway. You must be so excited you are on the downhill run to your K1.
