How and where on VJ forum you see current processing date for various centers?
Up there, where it says "IMMIGRATION TIMELINES", open that link then go down and you will find the dates

By the way we were there for almost 3 weeks. We went out frequently in our car, taxi, and on foot and felt very safe. I don't deny there are bad parts of the city but the "consulate zone" is well protected so don't worry any more than you have to.
Why were you there 3 weeks? Did it take that long??

[it took 3 months and 2 weeks before my first touch.. Sometimes it never shows up online.. I had another touch April 8th and it never was updated online..
darkdancer 333, then how did you know you had a touch? The only way I have to verify if we have one is through the USCIS page, is there another way? Thanks!

I'm coming with kids too and they say it takes up to 72 hours to get your results, so I'm considering to stay there for a week or so. As you, I am gathering all info possible so I am ready when we are approved. But I guess since you go before us, I will wait for your reviews and really hope everything goes well for you. I will come back frequently to see what others say and will post anything I read that can be useful to you. Good luck and congratz on your invitation!

So why is it that you have to go to DHL at the Consulate? To receive your visa at home?

Where are you staying? Do you feel safe?

Have you been in Juarez for 14 days????

I have an 18 year old and twin 8 year olds. So if it depends from my country and I am getting the visa at the US consulate who should I ask? Thanks

Thanks! Where to stay in Juarez? I would need it to be unexpensive if it's so many days... I just wonder why we can't use the Mexico City consultate where we get tourist visas!

Hello! Is there anyone who can share their experience? I have so many questions, I just read that the kids cant be granted a K2 visa without their parent getting a K1 visa first, so is that two different visits to the consulate? Do we need a notarized letter from the father or is the passport enough? Please, someone?? Thanks!!

Cuanto te llevo a ti?

Hi! Wondering if the medical has to be obtained in the city where you have your interview? I heard they tell you have to get it. And how long is the interview? And is one day enough or should we plan for 2 or 3? Do kids have to go too? Does my American fiance have to be interviewed too?
Too many questions, thanks for all your help!

means that expedite request is approved which is different from petition being approved
your petition is still under review and when it's approved you will get another notification (which is the NOA2)
Hi! Just one month between NOA1 and NOA2?? How did you do that???

Sooo I figured I'd go ahead and start this thread for all of us [former] TSC hostages waiting for our NVC case #s! So far there's only been one of us that has gotten to NVC.
As for me, I spoke to an operator on 1/24/11 and she told me to wait 15 business days for the case to be received and entered in the system (that'd be around 2/4/11). So that's what's going on with me.
Hi!! What is TSC, CSC, VSC? Thanks!

Someone mentioned the pictures before, saying they should be 2 in x 2 in, I wonder if that is the case because ours weren't like that. I also think it depends on the person checking your file, it's like when you get a tourist visa, some consuls ask for lots of documents, some others dont want to see a single one. I'm so glad you finally knew what it was and sent it to them, apparently you will get approved shortly as I have read some posts saying that, right? Congratulations!
