Have you looked on the London Embassy website for London specific instructions? You won't need photos if you sent them to NVC and the clinic will send your medical results to the embassy. I took two folders of documents and evidence, including more originals and more copies of all my documents, and all I was asked for was my passport and interview letter. Mind you, I did read a thread on here before my interview where someone was asked for an original of the marriage certificate from their previous marriage and sure enough the London site does say that you need certificates from all marriages. That panicked me so I got another certified copy of mine but they didn't ask for it.
Good luck.

I am pretty sure based off the little blue boxes on the person that "Quoted your post" that they are pretty new here to Visa Journey. I would be willing to bet that if was pure accident to quote "Your" post. The person quoting "your" post did say that the wait is 5 months and that is a USCIS estimated timeline for the I-129F.I am pretty sure that the OP would appreciate everybodies experience as to how long they have been waiting to be approved. And to answer your question about Why people keep answering the same question over and over. This is visajourney. Everyone who is a member is free to comment and share their experiences on the forums.

Hi Scott. I hope that everything is going smoothly with your visa process. As you can see from my signature, we are just at the end of our visa journey and like everyone says, once you are together all that waiting seems insignificant. Good luck.

My husband put the cd in his car and listened to it when driving.

Congratulations. It's a great feeling.

We had no evidence as we had also not been living together at the time we filed. We just sent three affidavits from people who knew us and we were approved without any problems. Good luck.

I knew I could count on you !! Thanks for the input
You're welcome.

For London the clinic will send the medical results to the Embassy. If you sent passport pics to NVC you shouldn't need them - I took extras just in case but they weren't asked for.

Hi. I got here on December 4th. I got my SSC in just over a week. On the same day I received the welcome later from USCIS. I haven't got my green card yet but not expecting it to be too much longer. I have taken my driving test (!) and now have a Georgia driving license.

What does need to be brought to the interview? I see things such as original copies for birth and marriage but the London Embassy should already have those since they should be sent with the paper work from the NVC.....correct?
Thank you! Just so happy we are finally moving along.
I took two folders with me. One had another set of originals of all the documents and a set of copies of them all plus copies of all the NOAs, correspondence etc. The other folder had evidence of our relationship. I didn't take either folder out of my bag!

My husband was able to add me to his Bank of America account before my visa was issued.

Great isn't it? Congratulations. See you back here in 21 months?

Case completed today!! Hoping for an early Jan interview.
Congratulations! Very happy for you.

Oh, welcome to USA! You entered the country on the same day as my wife.
I am not too worry about the green card processing, I am concerning about if the USCIS will remember to inform the SSA office as I had selected to apply for SSN on her immigrant visa form.
That's cool, I hope she is settling in well. I am expecting to have to go to the SSA office in a few weeks - after Christmas probably. If a card turns up in the mail it will be a nice surprise,

Thanks for info, ignorance on my part.
We all learn all the time on this site.

I am sure you have read all the reviews for London and they all tell you how straightforward it will be. I felt like you - excited and anxious at the same time. It will be fine.

Thats how long it could take, depends on your app and if you have no mistakes or Rfe's. Granted some people have received them in 4 to 6 weeks. There is a web site you can check your status after you recieve the first letter.
After I found out I was approved off the web site it took approximately 2 weeks.
I'm sorry but I think you still haven't quite understood the question. Kamhoe is talking about receiving the Green Card after you enter on an immigrant visa such as a spouse visa. At that point the application is complete and approved so there will be no mistakes or RFEs - they just need to produce and mail out the card. I did my POE last Sunday at Atlanta and they told me three to six weeks.

I have just checked the piece of paper the CBP officer gavel me and she has added an A and a 0 to the front of the number so it does have 9 digits on there.
-
On my visa there is a Registration Number which consists of 8 digits but no A. On the entry stamp the CBP officer has written that same number out and put an A in front of it. I am assuming that is my Alien Registration Number.

They told me a week to ten days but I received it in two! Interview on Tuesday, passport received Thursday.
