Diantre, I feel that I have been slow in sending AOS for K2. (had to save $) sending it this month. Is way past due

Yesterday was our one year anniversary. A lot happen this past year, between adjustment and illnesses, surgery and more adjustments, but God has been good to us. Feel bless to have him in my life and would not change a thing.

you should get about 3 noa1 for each of the applications. When we did ours, for each of the applications we got a number that we used to check the uscis website.

card received today!! it says is valid 8/16/12 so i guess this is when it as approved.

Learn something new today. K2 at least in this side of NJ, cannot get Social Security card until AOS is receive. The staff that assisted us was very helpful in explaining it.

Decided to check while at lunch and receive this much awaited message"On August 21, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you..."

I dont remember exact date, but it did not take long They should receive something within this week and next week. Keep calling NVC, you don't pay anything and they are more helpful than DR

For us they send us the interview date. I did not have to scheduled. Also NVC was the first one to let me know the date of the interview.

nina, once mom receives the packet, call NVC and ask them to send you a copy of the interview letter. I dont remember who I call that was able to send me the letter. I asked DR embassy and also NVC. I think it was NVC. Good luck

Six months since Form 485 was sent. uuyyy I know there are people waiting longer that is why am praying for theirs to be approve. This way I know that my is on the way. Lol patiently waiting
