I can't advise, but I can feel your pain... I either lost my NOA2 or never received..I honestly don't remember. I'm gonna take my chances and send the letter I got from NVC saying they've received my approved petition, an e-mail from USCIS saying my case was approved, and possible write a letter explaining this, along with my petition case number (if you call the 800 number and enter the case number, it tells you it was approved on blah blah blah). I'm gonna pray I won't get an RFE, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm 90% sure they wont accept it.

We definately did not receive ours and because we checked everything online on a regular basis we didn't think to advise them that we didn't receive it as we already knew it was approved

I am getting all paperwork together to submit for AOS for me K1 and my son K2 (8 years old)

I am a little concerned with a couple of parts

Firstly - my now husband did not receive an Notice of Approval from USCIS. He received Notice of Action to confirm recipt of payment.

The reason we knew it was approved was that we checked the status on line on a regular basis.

We then received the letter from the National VisaCentre advising that the case was being transferred to US Embassy, London.

Do you think not having the Notice of Approval will cause a problem, I will submit a screen print of USCIS website to confirm approval date as it is still showing.

Am I right in thinking that I need to submit one I-485 for me and one for my son and then just - one I-824 to cover both of us but photocopied and attached to each application?

I will also be sending the I-693A supplement for both myself and my son

Your help would be greatly appriciated.

Hi the A number is on my K1 visa but I cannot see it on my son's K2 visa is this correct? SHould he not have one??

I have my US (South Carolina Driving license)

In SC if you obtain it before you get married you have to haveI94, visa and proof of residency, they also asked for the Notice of Action for filing for your Employment Authorizion it took me 1/2 hour to explain that I don't get that until AFTER i'm married

They advised if I waited until after we were married I would have to supply Marriage License, Proof of Residence, and NOA for Employment Authorisation

I tried to change my license to my married name last week and they wouldnt amend it until I have filed form AOS

I recently sold myhouse in the UK and wired the money over to the US.

I didn't/haven't paid any taxes, I'm not sure whether this is right or wrong and no one has advised me otherwise - yet

Pregnancy is going ok hd a little bleeding -Went to ER and got checked out all was fine ( cost me $1700 to find that out)

You can drive on a regular UK one -Just remember to bring the paperwork that goes with the photo licences as some Car Rental companies will refuse yo if you forget - From personal experiance

I stayed at the Hilton gatwick which is actually attached to the Gatwick airport via a tunnel - you won't get any closer than that - It's not too expensive if you book in advance and on line

This is not my first - I have an 8 year old son, it feels like so long ago.

I had miscarried Jan last year very early in the pregnancy so I am resting a lot right now, saying that this pregnancy at 4-5 weeks feels totally different to the last - on headaches or stomach pains.

I'm happy to say I'm feeling sick, very very sore huge boobs - already!!! I have 2 that fit at 34 E

Amera - I hope that the baby manages to turn! My son Josiah was so lazy he didn't want to either, it took yoga and a few pokes here and there and he finally moved - quite late in the pregancy!!

Eveline - Good news about no swollen ankles and feet - I got mine in the last two weeks I definately got stretchmarks lots of them ( they faded fast though) as before I had my son I was a US size 4 - I went up to size 12!!! Ate like crazy!!!

Yep regular is good and I would say 2 copies of everything

A police certificate is required for the interview - not CRB, it's stupid really because the CRB has so much more information on it.

I had both as i needed my CRB for work. It's good to have in the US too

I was advised at the SS office last week that

K1 is eligable for SS number - I should get mine in around 2 weeks

K2 must wait until EAD or AOS - I must file for my son's after AOS

K3 - I am unsure sorry!!

Personally I would not recomend anyone booking flights prior to having that passport/visa in your hand.

I really hope there is no delay for you

They are very helpful.

It took around 5-6 weeks for my pack 4 to be sent out to me after sending the checklist. I seem to recall things tend to slow down a little around xmas too.
