Sorry slightly confused on what you are asking
part 1 on which form?
-
I got mine 10 days before the date
-
-
I received a RFE for I-1485 it was for further info on sponsors income i.e W2's etc.
Prior to explaining what the RFE was for on the letter it gave this statement :
*You are ineligible for interim employment authorization pursuant to Title 8 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 103.2(B)(10)(ii) until (90) days after missing initial evidence is received.* it shoudl be a b in brackets i don't know why I get this smily face!!!!!!!!
I do not know whether everyone's letter has the same statement, but I would assume from that everything is held up - My opinion!
Also it too 2 weeks from receiving the CRIS email to get my RFE notification
Good Luck with the rest of AOS
-
-
Congratulations to you
Did you already receive your EAD?
-
mmm I wonder why there???
I'm still with MISSOURI Service Center so I wonder where I will get sent to
-
last time line is:
10 Feb 2007 filled the AOS and EAD
24 Feb 2007 Notice Of Action for biomatrics and AOS and EAD
6 March 2007 Biomatrics apppointment and they give me the NOA papers with stamps as recipet!
thats pretty much everything
didnt hear anything from them anymore
not even touched
please who ever filled in februry
keep up with me
I filed in Feb too, got a Biometric Appointment for 1st March then received RFE date 22nd Feb nto received till first week in March. It was for not sending the most recent W2's, hubby didn't have it at that point.
Sent the RFE back last week and got e-mail notification from MCS that it is now received and should receive some kind of response within 60 days.
Hope you hear something soon
I think the cases that are transferred do have something to do with the local office. I too have notice a pattern. Of the people that I know that are from the Phoenix area, all have required interviews. The good thing is that they are often scheduled quickly. I have mine next weekGood luck with your upcoming interview!!

The answer I put on mine was
K1 visa holder married within 90 day period.
Up to this point I have had no problems
Good Luck with the rest of you AOS

I used my new married name on the AOS application.
As for the SSN, when I had the Notice of Action from the AOS application, I went into the DSS with that and a new application form to change the name and the NOA1 and that was sufficent to request a new social security card with the new name.
Good Luck with the rest of your journey

US citizen does not need to complete this time not like K1 application - Just you and anyone else you would be filing for i.e K2 children if any
-
Congratulations to you both!

Congratulations Savanphil! Wow A boy. I am 2 weeks behind you, so I wont find out the sex until the end of the month. My husband wants a boy of course. My entire family wants a girl. (we have way too many boys in the family). I just want a healthy baby. If it is a boy, I will get all the clothes from my friend who just had a boy. If it is a girl, my friend from Seattle will send me her baby girls adorable things. I am good to go.

We are around the same dates too.
I went for a scan last week, baby had it's legs crossed so we couldn't see what it was. Hopefully will find out in 3 weeks time

I have a Bank of America account - opened on a visit to the US a few years ago - straightforward checking account - and I still have a Nationwide account.
Kept most of my funds in there and use my cash card (Nationwide) to withdraw with NO fees. I monitor my account on-line as I have Flex account.
As for transferring large amounts I use a company called interchange FX, I have had no problems at all with them
-
Mine is at Missouri too. Hopefully we will both be sent to CSC
-
We had the same problem when we went to get our Marrage Licence - I just showed my passport with K1 visa and birth certificate and there was no problem.'
I had applied for my SS number however we did not have it in time.
People do advise wait two weeks before going to the SS office - I waited 3 weeks and was still not in the system.
THe SS office advised I could have just come in as soon as I got to US and applied - they then take application and refer to USCIS or DEPT of Homeland Security to confirm everything is legit - It took around 7 weeks to get my SS number

ICE, if you like sweet, just buy kettle corn over here...that's sweet instead of salty... probably not exactly the same, but it's an option if you didn't already know about it... :)M.
I didn't know about it but will definately give it a try! Thanks!

You could check the DMV.org website, it will advise you on theory test and practical test in all US states.
Did you apply for you SSN before getting married?? I ask this because I was told you would be unable to apply after until you had your EAD or Green Card.
I applied for mine before the wedding and received it before.

I brought my son to the US from the UK - I was a single parent I still had to obtain a sworn statement from my son's father - living in the US and Jamaica at the time.
The US Embassy advised If I was unable to provide this I would need to go to court and obtain a court order
