Yes because, not only have the US Citizen sacrificed their time and money, of which is not cheap, but they've also sacrificed their "Heart". When you love someone, you are dedicating your heart; entrusting this person with it. So, when a US Citizen puts his/her "All" into bring the love of their life to the USA; just to find out their foreign spouse used them, that's not only a waste of time, but it's also a waste of their "Precious Heart". That is very "heart-breaking" in the worse way ever to be used by someone with another "Agenda" after you have given your heart too them completely.

Nothing irks me more than seeing "CAN I SEND THEM BACK?" or some variation of this. I admit with all the fees you pay the immigration process can feel like modern day slave trade. Know what you want, know who you are, and know who you are marrying before you dive into visa waters. Yes, some of our significant others come from economically struggling countries and others whose countries fair far better than the US. Your spouse is not an expensive shirt that you tuck the tag in, wear for a night, and return the next day. My husband is fine where he is and it touches me to hear him pray for the betterment of his country and the people. Our spouses are perfectly capable of sustaining themselves in their home country. If you examine the circumstances the quality of life may be somewhat advanced in the US, but the quantity you pay is the same. Your spouse's life is changed as well as their family's. Some of them endure ridicule and negativity, because they married you and not a fellow countryman.

Jamaica2009 reacted to mg23 in Biometrics walk-in...any advantage?
I seem to be quite lucky in that my local center does allow impromptu walk-ins, according to anecdotes posted on here. Particularly late afternoons when they're not busy.
Good to know about the actual processes though - thanks for that info. I'll probably pop down there sometime this week or next, and see if I can get it out of the way for now.

Thank you - but don't feel angry when you read this. I was mad before, that turned into disappointment, sadness, and now I'm at a point where I'm just dealing with it because I have no other choice. I pray a lot...and I know my prayers are being heard because I have been spared so much more grief that could have happened to me. We had planned on having a child, and it was going to be a process to make that happen. I'm grateful it never got to that point or to the point he stole money or became desperate and did something worse. He has a new girl in his life right now....and I'm glad, because that just allows me to get over this faster.

Thanks so much!! And yes, we definitely need to keep in touch. I have some dark days which makes me block out the world, but that's getting better by the day
Hey Steph!! You know what.....he's crazy, but I'm crazier and if he decides to continue his ridiculousness, it will be ON! I can only take so much before I tear him a new A-hole!

Uuugh, I'd be armed or something if I were you. This guy is crazy, keep documenting everything, hopefully he'll get deported! Also, any friend or relative you can temporarily move with, for your safety?

Jamaica2009 reacted to LIFE'SJOURNEY in question about co-sponser
Incorrect answer above, only those she has filed as dependents on her taxes are listed on the 864. Their age doesn't matter, if she is still supporting her son who is in college he will be listed as a dependent.

Jamaica2009 got a reaction from LIFE'SJOURNEY in INTERVIEW K1 VISA QUESTIONS ((JAMAICA))
If you go to consulate reviews in the JA portal, sometimes people put what questions were asked at the interview. There are some recent ones on there now. Hope this helps
