Crossing my fingers! They're taking wayy too long. I just don't get it why VSC is tooo slow compared to CSC. This is the ONLY time that I wish I live in a different state (under CSC jurisdiction) .

when I was looking at Service Centers thread, CSC I-130 & I-129 applicants were complaining how CSC were slower than VSC so I am thinking VSC prioritize I-129, I-130 & I-485(employment based) and I-751 is less important. Why? I do not know..

Congratulations.

Looks as though VSC is slowly working through March.

Although, this does not really make sense because there are still January and February filers awaiting for their approvals, and when they called Customer Service line, they were all told that VSC was processing the applications up to February 14th so I am really confused, I can't see a stady trend, and it makes our timeline tracking list unpredictable....

I wanted to add some good news to the board. I think the VSC is beginning to work on May files. Our friend was staying with us while her husband was deployed and she applied for ROC through the VSC while she was with us. She has a NOA of 17MAY2011. Her bio was 05JUL2011 and she received the approval letter yesterday, 06SEP2011. No interview and no RFE.

I wish everyone luck. My wife and I will be doing ROC next summer.

That's because her husband is the army otherwise it would not be that quick, but thank you for the update.

When I called them today the customer service representative stated she was UNABLE to put in a service request for me. She then transferred my call else where. NOW....when this woman who BARELY spoke any english (she was haitian) came on the phone, she was EXTREMELY RUDE! She stated "You know that letter that we mailed you extending your GC for a year?... Well that is extactly how long it should take. Right now your case is still within normal processign time" YES she said that. So I said "So basically I should call back when a year has passed?" She said I can check again within 90 days.

Much to say her RUDE @&% pissed me off. I give up. I'll just waitin until they send me something.

Just got off the phone with the misinfo line. Same story, currently processing Feb 14th, no SR despite being over the official six-month timeframe. Very polite and checked with her 'supervisor' apparently but still fobbed me off. This is what I was told:

1. I-751 tracking data is kept in a separate database from the rest of the cases. Goodness only knows why but perhaps that explains the two receipt numbers thing. She needed both numbers from me to get the case status.
   
2. VSC (and CSC I assume) maintain a record of the date that they're currently up to with processing I-751s and make it available to the misinfo line agents. This is the mythical February 14th that we keep getting told about. The agent said that service centers are supposed to update that date several times a month. I mentioned that I know that VSC haven't updated their processing date for quite some time. She didn't comment but suggested that maybe it will be updated soon and to call back in a few days.
   
3. Until your NOA1 date is behind the mythical date, you cannot file a service request. That lots of us have been told exactly the same thing suggests this is policy rather than the customer service agents' prerogative and the likelihood of getting around it is slim.

So basically VSC have us over a barrel. By not updating their processing date, VSC can keep all of us whose NOA1 dates are ahead of Feb 14th waiting for as long as they want and there's no opportunity for a service request. That's a pretty dirty trick, IMO. If this goes on much longer, I'm going to go congressional on their asses

What is up with that date, I wonder if they are trying to clear the backlog up to that date and then start processing the further dates?

Why don't you include more bank statements, not two, but put 2 year bank statements and also include the credit card statements as well.

Do you wipe out your bank account number on the bank statment?

I never did. I think it is ok to leave it as it is. They can also have access to that info easily because you are putting evry other info on the application such as SSN so there is no point to wipe the account number out..

I have been thinking the same as well... I am a May filer, I am just hoping that it would not affect any filers at all. Hovewer, it seems like they have been quiet since Monday. I think only one March filer has got approved since Monday...

No, they did not change their decision, the post-decision activity is after your approval, they generate your approval letter and put it in the mail.

So, you are still approved, do not worry at all...

Read the notification again, it says "On August 30, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice."

It's been a week since we sent more supporting evidence to USCIS. Did you receive anything back from them? A receipt?

Does anyone know if USCIS normally send a receipt for more supporting evidence?

You shouldn't file G1145 with your ROC package since ROC doesn't go to the USCIS Lockbox facility.

That is correct, please read the instruction of G-1145, I think people get confused by the word "lockbox facility" because CSC and VSC have lockbox facilities, but the instruction clearly says " Please note that only those forms that are currently accepted at one of the three USCIS Lockbox facilities located in Chicago, Phoenix, and Lewisville, TX., provide you with the option to receive an e-mail and/or text message informing you that USCIS has accepted your application or petition."

So please, read the instructions carefully....

WHy csc cases processed in Detroit?

CSC sends the application back to the local offices where the applicants are from so in this case, the OP is from Detroit, and CSC sent the application back to the Detroit local office and the local office adjudicated the OP's case.

Approved 8/25/11....guessing RFE was on 8/15 (give/take a few days)

CSC is sending the applications to the district offices and then the district offices approve the applications, that is why they are really fast...

Question concerning the "My Case Status Portfolio" on the USCIS website. The site lists the last update to our ROC CRI89 as 06/02/11, but our biometrics was 07/28/11 and we had to call twice to get the appointment information concerning the bio appointment. It seems most list the last update as sometime in relation to the bio appointment. Is this true? It seems our update is still set at possible the initial touch of the packet.

I got my bio done at the end of June and my last update was 06/07. It seems that I-751 applications are not the priority and they do not get updated like the other apps. That is the most logical explanation I can come up with....
